Scout Original Deano - Large Utility Tote - Open Top Beach, Pool, Work, Shopping Bag

This is our official Boat bag. It holds BIG rolled up, beach towels, magazines, lotions, swimsuits, snacks, everything that goes on our boat. The best thing is, it stands up on its own. It doesn’t flop over, and it folds flat. So when all of our things are put away in their cubbies on the boat , The bag folds flat and goes into its own cubby. Floor space on a boat is a commodity. :) It’s the perfect size also. It holds a lot of things. It’s great quality. The material is fantastic and I can see this bag lasting this family for a few years.

My sister gifted me a SCOUT tote a couple years ago, and it's been my "go to" bag. A friend liked mine, so I decided to order her one as a gift, so she could have her own. Super cute bag - durable, holds a lot, perfect for a range of activities. I keep mine in my car with blankets / trunk organization. I also tend to use mine for carrying "all the things" when we are bringing food for a party, holidays (to carry in / out gifts), for beach days and overnighters. It's the perfect tote bag...my absolute favorite!!

I absolutely love with my SCOUT Original Deano tote! I bought it to use as a therapy bag, as I travel to people's homes and carry a lot of materials for work purposes. However, I can also see it being perfect for its designated use as a beach and pool bag. The size is generous, allowing me to fit everything I need without feeling cramped, and it's incredibly lightweight, and easy to clean, and I love how open it is at the top giving me easy access to all the things I carry. I also love the fun striped, colorful design. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

This bag is just beautiful... beautifully made and constructed... beautiful design and color combo...It's sturdy... durable... spacious...It's a perfect bag for ALL TYPES of shopping... I get compliments and inquires all the time about the bag...It's my go-to bag whenever I leave my NYC apartment to shop...

I got these to use a grocery bags about 2 months ago, and have used them for so much more. I bought 3, and plan to buy one more. 4 would have been perfect for my needs. (Plus 2 more for my mother-in-law for Xmas)They are big! And sturdy! I keep them in the back of the car so I can take them inside the grocery store at a moments notice or do curbside pickup and they load the stuff in them for me. And they hold a lot of weight! One bag holds the volume 4-6 grocery bags would. It seems I am limited only by my strength to lift not what the bag is willing and able to carry.To the beach: I have fit a feast of a picnic in one and 7 towels and 7 water bottles in the other for an outing to the beach with my kids and their friends. To the post office: I holds several to medium packages to haul off to mail. For travel: One held two full size pillows a throw and a stuffy! In the car: When we go to the carwash the kids can quickly throw all their toys bookbags and junk that litters the van into one so it can be set aside while we vacuum then taken inside the house where it belongs after we return home.When they get yucky I just use a wet cloth or baby wipe and voila, good as new.Definitely recommend.

This is a great bag. Love the plastic bottom, the material cleans easily, folds up nicely and holds pretty much anything you need. Great for groceries.

FLORIDIAN REVIEW: Beach & pool are weekly right now during the summer, this bag is used multiple times a week!Got this bag over the Bogg because of storage reasons AND wanted a sturdy bag great for travel. ALSO ordered all the other sizes from Scout and decided this size was perfect. Not too big not too small but I’d LOVE some of the features from their other bags (zippered closure, front pockets, bigger inside pocket preferably clear). Folds down great to fit right on top of our stuff in our checked bag for travel. Dries fast, water resistant and HUGE. Got our picnic blanket, a lunch box, water bottles, wet bag with extra clothes/diapers, etc. all in this bag. GREAT. Family of 4-5 this fits everything great! I use Turkish towels. Attach a caribiner for the water bottles and strap the kids floaties on.But it loses its shape- it almost bows out because of so much in it. The bottom stays sturdy but I wanted a bag sturdy enough to not let the items inside dictate how it holds itself.Also, the lip at the top of the bag prevents it from being *easily* cleaned. Why is it there? Can it be sewed shut? Getting sand out of the bag isn’t as easy as dumping it upside down. And even then, you won’t get all of it unless you vacuum it out.I hope scout sees this and creates the perfect in between bag!
