GE WB27T11312 Oven Control Board

Works great

My 20 year old Kenmore stove needed a new control board. I replaced it and everything works great.

Only had to do a small amount of research to find this part. It was modestly less expensive from the source on Amazon than from other parts places. Best of all, it worked as advertised.I shorted my control board when trying to change the oven bulb. I foolishly left the stove plugged in, and inadvertently touched a lead to the rack. POP and off went the control panel. The stove top still worked but the oven did not. I could not see any burned out components, but clearly something died a first death. Moral…unplug the stove unless you have something to prevent accidental short when you take out the fixture.This control panel did the trick. Take photos of your old hookup just in case; but it isn’t difficult to reconnect the wires. The relays are color coded so that helps. You’ll need a dryer or heat gun to GENTLY heat the face cover and reuse it (unless you buy a new one). Use a good putty knife to gently side under it and work your way across. Not too difficult just take your time.Stove works all around now and I don’t have to spend $800 on a new one.

years ago lightening fried the panel on my GE stove. My x-husband ordered this part and fixed it. Here I am 5 years later, single and very stubborn. I have always tried to fix things on my own. I found a good you tube video so I ordered this...fingers crossed it was the right part. I had my 12 yr old hold the light while cut my finger taking out the old one. when the new one was installed and I plugged it in...it worked! There were definitely some hi 5's. super easy to install, but I do recommend taking a pic of the wires before you take off the old one. This probably saved me $200 doing it myself, and in the middle of Covid no one would come out to service it anyway.

It solved the control button issue- flashing F-7 or F-10

We changed the light bulb without turning off breaker to stove, whoops- that blows out the control board! Replacing it with this part was easy (this was the only part that isn’t just mechanical) and fixed the problem first time with no hassle. You do need to also get the front cover because the old one is glued to the old controller.

Perfect , fit and function . Did a quick drawing of where the wires go , and very carefully removed the thin flimsy plastic indicator panel that covers the front with a hair dryer along the outer edges and a wide putty knife , worked perfect and was able to restick it to the new one ! Work smart , be sure to turn OFF the Power to the unit before this repair ! Thanks for the quick turn around !

Works on Moffat mcb787d r4ww. You will have to gently peel and reuse overlay display unless you buy a new one. Solved the issue of the oven not working due to burnt plug end on the old control panel.

Had no oven through the holidays so it was great when it showed up amd my husband was able to install

GE electric stove would heat excessively. Thought it was the thermostat but was actually the control board. This part saved me $1,000 to repair the old one!! Needless to say I was happy!!
