Works fine in my PS5. People like to be over dramatic.

Q: what sort of temperatures and speeds are people getting with this in real world use?

Hi. Probably not super helpful but the temperature hasn't been a problem for me (warm to the touch, nothing more) and my boot speed was halved verses the old sata ssd (which I didn't expect). otherwise flawless for me.

Q: I have 2 m.2 slots on my asus tuff x570 board but the one i want to use this on is next to my gpu and i’ll there be another room for both ?

Not sure I understand your question. But the X570 Motherboard design has to have the M.2 slot as close the the CPU as possible to get the full PCIe 4.0 speed with it. This is also the one typically right next to the top most PCIe slot used for GPU cards. This should fit without any problem, it did on my MSi X570 Tomahawk board, but I have since moved the GPU onto a vertical mount both for looks and to move the biggest heat source in the system away from the M.2 slot.
