Pete the Cat’s Family Road Trip (I Can Read Level 1)

These are my granddaughter's favorite books right now and she reads them to her class

We are Pete the Cat fans in our house. We loved this story. My son also loved recognizing some of the things we have seen on our road trips.

This book is a cute road trip across the USA. The the order visit sites is not necessarily realistic.... but I loved how at the end, Pete said the best thing was traveling together as a family.BTW - there is a trade center building still in New York city. Its called the One Trade Center Building... so when i read about a trade center building in the book, I was thinking about the new building. None of us connected this book to the 9/11 tragedy. Others may have a different experience than ours - so I would be sensitive to that. But we live all the way in California, did not lose loved ones on that day, and if we ever did visit New York, we would visit the new Trade Center Building and Museum. So for us, this book was realistic in visiting that location.

My youngest son loves all of Pete the Cat books. They are fun to read because he’s so cool about everything. This book was a great one to read. After we read it we looked up the places to see the real version. Some of the places I’ve been too and some my children would like to see.

Dad read the book to him and he loved it. The illustrations were bright and he had fun looking at them A great book to get a child on the road to reading.

The grandkids loved it!

I purchased this book because my toddler became interested in places, maps & planes (mostly anything travel related). This book is a nice, easy read that highlights all the famous US road trip stops. Many of which we were visiting for our own family vacations, so my child loved pointing out the places & recognized some of the illustrated landmarks as well.

O livro é legalzinho! Parece mais uma revista, e achei a ilustração fraca. Meu filho pensou que a queda d’agua tipo cachoeira era uma onda, e realmente parecia uma onda.
