I ordered this screen replacement for my iPhone 12 Pro Max and it fits and works perfectly. I appreciate that the tools and screen protector come with it. The installation was simple and the quality is similar to the original, colors are vibrant and everything is crystal clear!

I like this screen a lot so far. It was delivered timely on the 7th October 2025 and installed on 10/9/25. The price is great for a screen w/ earpiece/proximity sensor and metal plate pre-installed. Having the metal mount plate between the digitizer and phone internals and the earpiece already on it make it a lot easier & quicker to install. Everything seems to be working (I ordered, installed and sent back one of a different brand/seller that wouldn’t recognize any of three home buttons before ordering this one). If I had any complaints it would be that it’s too sensitive to touch, although that might be in comparison to what I’m used to or that my hands are dry and kind of beat up from packing to move. I did put a hardened glass screen protector on it. The other thing that is weird is I have the phone set to auto lock after five minutes. It doesn’t lock unless it sits over night (about 6.5-7 hours while I’m sleeping, and I can’t get my Apple watch set up. I don’t know if the screen has anything to do with the settings in the phone, so take that into I consideration and I’d love if someone could tell me if it does or not. That might be the app crashing, and I’ll update later if I’m wrong about that. I’m giving it 5 stars for the positive attributes, and I do consider the phone to have been a little crazy for years. To let you know where I’m coming from, I’ve had this 7Plus for years and replaced many screens because I am clumsy sometimes and I’ll keep it as long as there are updates because I prefer to keep as much waste out of the environment as I can.

When I first installed this screen, it was immediately obvious that it was a lower-quality replacement compared to the original iPhone X display. The colors looked dull, and the touchscreen responsiveness was noticeably slower.I understand that cheaper replacement parts often come with some compromises, so I was willing to accept that. Unfortunately, after about a month of use, the screen developed a more serious issue. It would only power on if I pressed firmly on the area near the power button, which suggests a connection or hardware problem.In my experience, this screen worked temporarily but did not hold up over time.

I ordered a replacement battery for my iPhone 5S off Amazon (it's the 3rd battery it's had), but the latest DIY repair didn't go so well: after hooking all the connectors back up, I had nothing: the old screen didn't light up, phone wouldn't reboot, etc. despite trying to charge the new battery overnight, etc.So I took it apart again, and looked closely at the traces on connectors and spotted a crimp that looked a bit hinky.So I took a chance, and ordered this screen replacement assembly off Amazon.1st I verified my hunch was correct (I was worried that I'd somehow damaged the logic board, but fortunately that wasn't the case). With all the screen replacement connectors attached, the red discharge screen appeared on my phone screen when I tried to turn it on, and after a few minutes the phone rebooted.I breathed a sigh of relief, as I was at the point of wondering whether I was just throwing good money after bad (I use it as my back-up phone, mostly for gym use).There's only so many times you can disconnect cables before you end up with a small unnoticeable broken trace, connector, etc, but I was back in business!I then powered it off, and replaced the generic home button with the OEM part (to retain the Touch ID unlock feature), and reinstalled all the connectors and screws.Unfortunately, at the very last step of inserting the screen into the main body, I ended up cracking the new glass screen by applying a bit too much pressure (I heard a snap, but thought it was the screen assembly clicking into the retainer clip of the main assembly casing).Fortunately, the crack is small and diagonal (in the upper left hand corner), and it's confined to the area overlying the signal strength indicator of cellular provider, so it isn't too noticeable when in use when you're holding the phone straight on.So although the crack is kind of a buzz kill (I get the sense that the screen glass isn't up to quality of the OEM part), it's not worth dissembling the phone again to replace it again (again: there's only so many times you can insert and remove those multi-trace connectors before you end up breaking the connector on the logic board end).The front camera, speaker, proximity sensor, all seem to work as good as OEM parts (my upper speaker went out years ago, so its nice to have that functionality back; I was taking and placing calls in speaker-phone mode, which uses the lower mic/speaker).As far as the image quality of the new screen, I was pleasantly surprised: it's nice and bright, with no obvious pixelation, blue tint, dead pixels, etc, even after it was back in it's Otter Box Defender case (which has a thin plexiglass covering on it. I also ended up leaving the shipping screen protector on, since degradation of image quality is not too much to effect legibility).BTW, I read other reviews for other 5S screen replacement assemblies sold by other Amazon sellers, but this one provides a great value (just be EXTREMELY careful on the last step, so you don't crack your screen, like I did).

I bought a replacement battery for my 12 mini a few months back, then started having intermittent issues with the touch screen after I accidentally took it in my swimming pool.So I ordered this kit and decided to do both installs. I went to YouTube school on the install of both pieces before I started. My conclusion after finishing this job is it's a lot harder than most of the comments would imply. And of course the people putting out YouTube videos do this all the time and have the tools and work environment complimentary to the job. I'm an electronics tech but this is my first try with an iPhone screen:First step is to get the phone hot enough to soften the evil adhesive that Apple puts inside the 12 Mini. One of the videos the guy even commented on how sticky the glue on this particular model is. In the videos they have a special mat that they put the phone down on that heats the whole screen evenly all the way around, and they simply stick the plastic pick in and pry the screen off. If, like me you use a hair dryer, this process is very difficult...you need to get the whole rim of the phone super hot to even make a dent in this stuff. Probably should have used a heat gun but I was afraid of getting it too hot...no worries there. As a result I didn't get it hot enough and ended up trashing the screen, it came off in 3 layers, the outer touch, the substrate, and left the rest still glued in leaving the sensor array attached to the main phone body. Even after that I had a hard time prying the last piece off the phone frame and getting rid of all the black glue.The other thing that looks easy in videos is replacing the tiny screws that hold the plates and sensors in. These things are as small as a deer tick and twice as annoying. There are 3 bit styles and unless your eyes are really sharp you need a magnifier to tell the diff. Magnetizing them helps a bit. Also a magnetic tray from Harbor Freight to hold the screws is a good thing. If you have sausage fingers or the shakes you will have a tough time with these. A lighted magnifier is very helpful for this whole job.Anyway after those difficulties I got the thing back together and was gratified to see it light up and work. It now gives me a message that I don't have a genuine Apple battery or display, not sure if I will lose any functionality but we'll see. The display looks good and the touch works well.The kit comes with all the tools you need (except of course a heated mat LOL). It comes with one strong pick to help pry the screen off. Find a guitarist and borrow a half dozen more because you need to hold the screen back as you go around it once you finally get it to give up and separate from the phone. A set of tweezers, 3 screwdrivers, an adhesive gasket so you can reinstall the glue that made it such a pain in the first place. If you leave that out, which is tempting, I presume it would lose it's water resistance. It even comes with a nice glass screen protector.A pic attached of what happens when you don't get it hot enough and get the pic between the top layer of the screen...

The screen worked well, was easy to install, and the tools made installation easy and quick. I had it done within 30 minutes. The screen is vibrant and has a good touch response, and the included screen protectors were a blessing.However, this barely lasted more than a month before the display separated itself from the frame of the display. I was very disappointed by this as otherwise it was a phenomenal process to use and install.Update 04/08/2024:A customer service representative contacted me. They were incredibly helpful and receptive and asked for an image of the defect. They offered either a refund or a replacement. I went ahead with the replacement and will update the review as time goes on! It is a huge plus that the company had reached out and tried to make this right.Update 04/10/2024:Received a replacement screen today, and went ahead and replaced the old defective one on my phone. Install was just as simple as the first time. The screen works well, is responsive, has good colors, and is overall pleasant to use. Regarding the Display separating issue that will need to be observed over time. Will update this thread if the issue occurs again.- Giving 5 stars due to the promptness and helpfulness of the seller.02/20/2025:Hello! Another update, it has been working well and has almost been a full year, the display did not separate again, and has been giving no issues. Would purchase this product again, especially with the great customer service I was provided.Pros: Easy-to-Install, Customer Service, Company Support.Cons: Display separation issue.

This is a great kit, coming with absolutely everything needed and for an incredible price. It even comes with a little magnetic matt to place the screws and other parts as you remove them and keep them organized, a very nice touch. The installation is fairly straight forward with only a couple of stumbling blocks along the way. The wire connectors can be difficult to engage, I had more trouble with the three screen connectors than the home button connector but neither is that difficult if you just stick to it and stay patient. The video they point you to for installation instructions is very good. However, it includes unnecessary steps such as the ear piece removal since the new screen includes the ear piece already installed. This is nothing that the installer can't figure out but I would have liked to have known in advance so I wouldn't waste any extra time removing tiny, tiny screws that I didn't need to.So the big problem with this product is the screen brightness. It isn't very good. it is slightly dark and the contrast is boosted so high that you lose detail and depth. And the bright whites are now grey, albeit slightly, but still not pure white like they should be. And of course this is with the brightness adjustment all the way up which will be the only setting you'll ever use now.I hate to downgrade such a great kit for this problem but screen quality and appearance is a pretty high priority. I guess I can live with it but really wish the seller had sourced a better quality screen. I'll see over time if I want a screen closer to the original Apple version or if I don't care and get used to it. But if you're considering buying this item, I would see what else is out there and if a better, more original looking screen is available. I honestly don't know as I bought this one quickly.

The replacement screen looks and feels like the original screen. The tools that come with it are excellent, it was a bit difficult to get the old screen pried up but since it was already cracked, didn't worry about that so much. It's nice that the screen includes the speaker, front camera and proximity sensor, so all you need to transfer from your old screen is the Home Button which is because it is matched to your iPhone for the finger print function. After getting everything back together which is a bit tedious because of the tiny screws that Apple uses the screen functioned perfectly and everything looked normal. But after using it a bit I noticed that the battery was draining about twice as fast as prior to the screen replacement. I messaged the seller, who was very quick to respond, recommended opening it back up and verifying all the connectors are firmly seated and then do a "Hard Reset". So I followed the recommendations, the connectors do have a faint click when connected properly and they all seemed to be good since I needed to pry them up. Another nice thing with the kit is that it includes a magnetic pad with an image of the internals of the phone to keep track of the screws since they are different lengths. I did the Hard Reset which I understood as completely powering down and back up but the battery drain was still bad. I contacted the seller again and they offered a replacement screen or a refund, my option. They did not believe the battery drainage problem to be common with their screen since the battery connects to the logic board not the screen, they thought only a loose connector could cause the battery to drain more quickly. I searched the internet to see if this was a common problem with screen replacements and found one person recommending a "Factory Reset". I really did not want to have to pry the screen up again, it's the most stressful part of the replacement in my opinion. So I backed up the iPhone to my computer per Apple Support instructions, did the Factory Reset which clears everything off your phone so when it restarts it's like a brand new phone starting from scratch. I reloaded everything to the iPhone from the computer back-up and amazingly everything came back even down to the greeting message for my voice mail. Ever since the Factory Reset the battery draining problem seems to be fixed, it's as it was before the screen replacement. So if you have a similar problem, don't give up on the screen because it is beautiful and looks and operates just like the original. Can't thank the seller enough for the great customer support and willingness to do whatever it took to make it right.

...da wünscht sich einer der Nachkommen sein erstes iPhone und nach nur wenigen Wochen stellt sich heraus, dass auch bei diesen Geräten die Displays nicht unkaputtbar sind...wow...welch Erkenntnis.Da ich selber ein kleiner Bastler bin und auch schon bei anderen Smartphones die Displays gewechselt habe, war es mir hier einen Versuch wert.Display inkl. Zubehör (ich mag das kleine Magnet-Pad ) wurde sehr schnell geliefert und auch eine Verlinkung zu einem sehr gutem YT-Tutorial war dabei. Goil.Das Display ließ sich problemlos verbauen und die Qualität ist top!Also, keine Angst und auch mal selber machen!Fazit: sehr empfehlenswert!

Recomendado al 100% todas las pantallas que me encontré eran bastante caras, así que me decidí por comprar esta. El resultado no puede ser mejor. Muy contento
