Purchased for dog walking in woods in the dark having researched and read reviews but was a bit disappointed in most reviews in that the images posted are predominantly ‘in doors’. Torch is brilliant, best one I have ever had. Easy to charge, comes with a nice nylon case (I discarded the hard case it came with as no need personally for it) and the battery life performs well on all settings (not had a chance to test times advertised but don’t see myself ever needing it longer that a walk!) It extends slightly from the head to focus beam and pull back down for wider view, both of which are impressive in that it virtually turns night into day, seen for the first time myself now how many foxes eyes light up in distant bushes I wouldn’t have otherwise known were there, which takes a bit of getting used to! For the price you pay you won’t be disappointed, get one. Smashes all my other torches when weighing up cost and performance comparisons. Nice size in that it will fit in the pocket and the only awkward thing I find is 1- the plastic protector to cover the bulb head is a bit fidgety and 2: when out in the dark it’s not always obvious which button you squeeze turns it on as the reverse side of the torches ‘ on switch ‘ is a similar feeling plastic button that covers the recharging port. Doubles up as an emergency phone charger, I have tested it and it does work but I don’t have a lifestyle where I think I will ever need that functionality, but if you camp out and happen to have a charger cable and no other power available, this will power that phone up. I had some images to post but the images online and that I have taken don’t really do it any justice, the one I post shows it in use it unlit woods on full beam. Not had any issues with over heating like some have but I am a light user. Had it for a month now and it’s still performing, part of me thought that having read some negatives comments and thought it can not really be any good for that price surely, I had to say a month on its doing what it was advertised to do, everyone whose seen it likes it and some relatives have gone a bought one off the back of seeing it. Can’t say anything better than that about it.

I have a few torches and the LED is super bright, using a rechargeable 18650 battery which is better than using alkaline disposable batteries, the torch is a valuable accessory around the house/garage/shed/car. Item comes with a charger for the 18650. An excellent gift for Christmas or birthdays

There are plenty of these torches being sold by various resellers. Reliablility is unknown as I have not used this (or any other variant) for long enough to make a judgement. This one came with a 2400mAH Lithium Polymer rechargable cell - stated to be 3.7V-4.2V nominal. The torch came with a mediocre, cheap usb charger for the li-po cell, that was barely usable - it was not a tight fit, and thus you were unsure if the battery was charging or not connected (it was intermittant between red and green states). This was disappointing. However, it did manage to charge the cell (slowly of course, as this is a lipo battery we are talking about here). I measured the voltage using a multimeter, and the voltage when it was almost fully charged is 4.12V. I have not tried to charge it for hours to achieve the maxiumum rated voltage of the cell. I would not like to leave such a device charging in the supplied charger unattended due to safety concerns. The package also came with 3xAAA batteries (cheap make) and all was contained in a nice hard plastic case that is handy for carrying (including shaped foam packaging). A carry strap, and other accessories were also included. All in all, a nice little torch. I only really wanted to purchase it for the rechargable cell and charger. I rate it overall a 4, as the charger could be better. It was only a spring loaded cheap charging unit. Still, was good for the price on sale (I paid around £14 for the torch set.)

It was a good one. I bought for my children. The light brilliant. The option is good and it is provided option with rechargeable and non rechargeable batteries.

Great size and shape (not too small). Incredibly powerful beam for the size, and being able to zoom/widen is really useful. Good even spread of light. Bit of colour fringing but not at issue in use. One top feature is being able to just turn it off in one push of the button, ie not having to annoyingly cycle through the various modes (which you do through a quicker push of the button). Battery life seems fine. Case and pouch are nice additions also.

I bought this for dog walking and really pleased with it, very bright and good grip. Came with a belt holder and diffuser

Very good little torch not used the recharge yet but is a very sturdy torch and bright I can see the dog in the garden now at night very easy to use 3 functions normal light flashing and zoom good value torch 👍
