Amazing flexible light, gonna buy more!
This light is great! if it fits the battery, it will work. I will be buying one for each car as well as camping/hiking.pros:very lightweightruns on any battery (alkaline, nimh, nicd, li-ion, lifepo4)always starts on the lowest setting! no more blinding me in the dark or having to cover the light with my handgood battery life on every setting -- no surprisesprotected on/off button on the backbelt clip -- reversible!good throw distance : standing/walking distance is about perfect.Bright on high even with nimh. lithium batteries are amazingneutral is a nice neutral to yellow color.comes with extra o-ringslanyard loopsnice knurlingcons:moonlight brighter than i prefer, especially with lithiumsother:no SOS - i don't like sos, normally, but i could see it being very useful in emergencies if they would make it work after holding the button for 4 or 5 seconds instead in normal rotation.survived the rain, but i haven't tested immersion yet

It is my favorite flashlight
I returned the first flashlight that arrived, but this was my error. What happened was that when installing the battery I was concerned about damaging the "O" ring seals at the Battery cap and the LED head. So I screwed the two ends of the flashlight on only until I was certain the "O" rings had sealed. Because the LED did not light when the on switch was activated, I returned the flashlight. When the replacement arrived, I decided to screw both ends way past the point of "O" ring contact--until they reached the end of mechanical travel. Then the flashlight worked perfectly. Clearly the electrical circuit is completed only when both the battery cap and the LED head are screwed all the way to the mechanical stop.I have previously imagined my perfect flashlight as including only a single AA or AAA battery that would simply go on and off by activating the on/off switch. The lights that cycle through multiple modes I found terribly annoying. But after using this flashlight for a few weeks, I find its thee modes very convenient. Pressing the on/off switch until it clicks, produces a very dim light, sufficient for navigating the house at night with dark-adapted eyes, but dim enough so that eyes stay dark-adapted and family who are sleeping are not disturbed. Clicking the switch again turns the light off. If the light stays off for 3 seconds or more, clicking again returns to the dim light again. But by following this click with a slight depression of the switch produces a light adequate for daytime use in shadows. A second slight depression produces a really bright light that will draw more significantly from your battery's reserve. No matter where your are in this sequence, clicking the switch turns the light off; the sequence resets (if off for 3 seconds or more) so that the next click produces the very dim light again. So the cycling between modes with this flashlight is very convenient, and it functions such that I never lose dark- adaptation unless I need a bright light, and I don't deplete battery reserves unless I need a really bright light. In addition the single AA battery, although slightly heavier that a single AAA, has much greater capacity and the weight increase is so slight that it seems perfectly acceptable.

Different LED than before
The color of the LED used to be closer to a neutral white when I purchased my first A1 in December 2018. The color seems more greenish to me now. Still a good light. I like that it always starts at the lowest setting, which is great for when you want a light in the middle of the night when you wake up, and don't want to mess with your night vision or sleep hygiene.

Not very good flashlight. Buy something else!
I was out running before the sun rose, and the flashlight quit working, but the batteries had plenty of charge. Then it worked intermittently during my run. The entire time no one on the road could see me. I was on the sidewalk, so it was ok, but it was very inconvenient. I need a new flashlight!

Was hoping for better...
Not so bad based on the price. But have two areas of disappointment. First off the brightness is underwhelming compared to some other AA lights in my collection. And secondly, the tint is not what I would consider neutral white. I would simply describe it as lime green. Gross. Lol. Unfortunately, I won't be using this flashlight often. Might give it away instead.

Awesome for the price.
Very nice build. Amazing for the price. The UI could be a lot better. Memory would be great. Over all well worth the moneyb

Good and useful for the money.
Good light levels, good tint (high CRI yay), gives you a choice of Li-ion and decent pocket clip.
