Very Satisfied
Fit perfectly and it solved the problem. I may buy a couple of more for spares because I have three more of these switches in the alarm system and they are the same age as the switch that failed.

Performs as Expected, Every Time, All the Time
Purchased four, so far I've tested two and installed one. In hundreds of tests/door openings, my alarm keypad chimes every time, no exceptions.That being said, I've got one installed in 1995 that still works. When I replaced the old alarm control panel this year, I replaced one of the old sensors, left the other in place. I should replace the second one so I can put a line-monitoring resistor at the sensor instead of at the control panel. I hesitate because...if it ain't broke...Definitely recommend this sensor.

I used these for door alarms on our buildings to replace the defective ones.

Perfect replacement for dead door contact switch
Perfect replacement for dead door contact switch. One day I found that my home alarm did not go off when I opened the front door, a little investigation with an ohm meter showed that the contact was no longer working. Found this and it took about 5 minutes to install by soldering the wires into the existing circuit. Works perfectly.

Installed and working on an ADT Safewatch Plus system
I installed these new switches on an ADT Safewatch Plus system originally installed back in the 90s. They do not sell this wired system any longer. You have to buy the wireless version. It is a big cost upgrade to convert. I recently put in all new doors in my home. The switches needed to be re-drilled and redone. I ordered 3 of these switches. One was shipped to me with a shorted contact. That was a little disappointing. The other 2 were good. In order to get the switches to work, I had to solder a 2.2 K resistor in series with the switch. Without the 2.2 K ohm resistor in series, a door closure would not shut off the red light on the keypad for the zone. ADT would not troubleshoot this over the phone. They wanted to send out a tech for hundreds in cost. No need to call them out. Just put a resistor in series with the new switch. It seems to be working well so far. I used heat shrink to insulate the connections after soldering.

My old home security door sensor failed and I can't find a replacement at any local store. Fortunately, I found this one on Amazon and ordered one. Installation is easy. It fits perfectly and works as expected.
