Simple Eye Makeup Remover Pads, 30 ct

I did not use this on a daily basis. I preferred these when I was tired or in a pinch! I wear medium eye makeup, basic, say a kohl, eye liner, nude eyeshadow or mascara(washable). One wipe is required for each eye, takes off the makeup completely, doesn't irritate my eye or skin around it. But dries if the pouch is left open;) My seller- amazingly fab

These eye makeup remover pads are yet another simple and efficient product from the brand... Simple. I'm a big fan of cleansing balms and rarely use makeup removing wipes or pads, but I like to have an option with good ingredients around when I need something quick and convenient (e.g. when traveling, if I go to the gym straight from work). I personally found the pads remove well all make-up, waterproof mascara and brow products included, without extra effort. One pad is sufficient for both eyes, I sometimes use two for the entire face (so I don't need another make-up remover). I actually prefer these to regular make-up wipes because the packaging is so small and compact. The pads have the perfect wetness, I like they are not soaked in solution. The wetness dries out quite fast, but I end up removing the make-up in the meantime. The package comes with 30 quite small pads, with some texture/bumps; the bumps are great for better taking down make-up, but people with sensitive skin might not want to be rough with them. The glue on the flap isn't the best, it loses stickiness quite fast and I really need to be careful it closes well each time. The pads are round and durable, they don't disintegrate when I use them. I have very sensitive eyes, even formulas targeted to very sensitive skin caused me irritation; the Simple pads are very gentle. The pads barely leave any residue on the skin and they are non-drying, but I always wash my face after removing make-up.

I find these to be just as effective on heavy eye makeup as larger wipes and are less wasteful. They have one side that’s more textured so makeup is removed effectively, but they are still non-irritating. I prefer to use these eye pads to get off my eye makeup first and then a reusable cleansing pad or makeup eraser to clean the rest of my face. Also, these packs are really small and perfect for travel.

Although these pads DID remove eye makeup, they didn't do it very well. If you're wearing much eye makeup (especially waterproof), expect to use 2-4 pads to remove everything. The pads are surprisingly dry, and the material seems a bit thicker than it needs to be, which makes it harder to get around the corners of your eyes. Given the cost and performance of these makeup remover pads, I definitely won't be buying again. If they were effective and easy, I wouldn't think twice - but it didn't seem any easier than using q-tips or cotton balls with a bottle of makeup remover.

I have been waiting for a product like this. Tried for the first time and works better than anything I have tried in the past for liner and mascara. No stingy or burning to eyes like some liquids. Costlier than liquids considering it lasts 30 days, but it works well, so worth it and easy for traveling and takes up no space, small packaging. I never need more than one pad for eye make-up removal unless you wear over the top eye make-up.

Overall, I'm happy with these eye makeup remover pads. One of the first things I look for is, do they actually remove eye makeup? I'm happy to report that they do -- even waterproof eyeliner and mascara. I feel that these do a better job than the last product I tried (some La Fresh wipes) at getting all my mascara off. Second, and this is also very important, but they don't sting or cause my eyes to burn. I wear contact lenses and have somewhat sensitive eyes, so I'm always happy when a product is gentle, as these are. I've had the package open for a couple of weeks now and the pads are still plenty damp/wet and show no signs of drying out. The adhesive on the closure is still strong. I don't think I'd leave these for a month or two without using them, but for the short term, the package being open doesn't seem to be a problem. (It seems to me that this particular pouch-like package uses less material than a screw-top jar would, so that's also nice.) These are two-sided and the sides are similar although not identical (one has more of a texture than the other), but you can use one side of the pad for one eye, then flip it and use the other side. They also remove lip stains and lipstick.
