MATTE CLEAR COAT

Performed as it should, on smooth and with no running. Looks great !

I looked all over the area to find this product that I had used before. No one had it, some had no idea what I was talking about, a clear coat that doesn't need a hardener? Never heard of such a thing. I used it on 2 rims for a DeLorean which aren't shiny but need protection after painting. Does not require a hardener so you just put it in your cheap spray gun and shoot. No worry that you didn't use enough or too much hardener. Makes a great non glossy finish for use on car firewalls or even appliances. Also comes in a gloss clear coat. It only took 1/3 of a can to do 2 wheels with 2 coats.

Actually comes out as a satin automotive finish. It's not super flat like Testors Dullcote.

These Dupli Color paints and primers are ok and easy to use...but the paint seems to be mixed kind of thin. Because the paint is thin it takes a lot to cover a large project such as a car. I only use them for small projects because it is easy to use requiring to mixing of thinners...may be a lacquer based paint so check to see how it effects what your paint over.

This product did everything it was supposed to do protect the car in a matte finish unlike the other product that was sent to me that was a glossy finish did not all it did was cost me to have to repaint the entire car

I use this to finish wood projects for the house, love the durable finish.

Matte finishes should absorb light rather than reflect it. This finish is not matte. It has a shine that is closer to satin or even semi-gloss. I should have tested it rather than trusted the label, now having to redo the project.

Used this product to cover sticky car interior buttons. It cured hard and the result was no more sticky buttons.
