This charger works great. I can just put it next to the window and it charges even on a cloudy day. I use this everyday so I don't have to keep my phone plugged into the wall charger. Would buy again

I really like these 4Patriots Power Cell CX’s as I have many of them and gave some of them away for gifts. Communication is very important during a blackout to stay in touch with family to see if they are okay or if anyone needs help or to call 911 in an emergency or whatever the case may be. The only thing I do not like is that the shipping to you takes way too long to receive them on both the 4Patriots Web Site as well as Amazon. It usually takes about 7 to 10 to 14 days. When you are ordering something that you need right away especially for a possible blackout to have on-hand, you want to get your resources as quickly as possible. But other than that, this is a great product and all of 4Patriots products are VERY WELL MADE and DURABLE! I have a lot of their products and they are top notch merchandise and I’m so glad I have them in case the electricity goes down which, for me, has gone down 3 times in the last 2 months! And if you forget to recharge your cell phone over night, you can take this 4Patriots Power Cell with you in the morning and charge your cell phone anywhere! Great for camping too! I highly recommend the 4Patriots Power Cell CX’s!

It's about the size of a cell phone, I used it for a music festival for my friend and I both to charge up as needed. It does charge a little slow, but wasn't a big deal for what I was using it for. And since you have to have clear bags at most festivals now, I just kept it in the front pocket to let it get the sun.

Purchased this charger for my cell phone. It is important to have when traveling long distance or when you’re out all day shopping in which the phone battery tends to run low. I love this battery pack. It’s convenient and a necessity. The purchase was well worth the price, and in fact, it was less costly on Amazon than buying directly from the provider of the brand. Also it fits in all my small bags. Thank you!

This product is one of the worst battery cells I have ever used. At 8000 mAh it should charge my phone almost three and half times. Even on airplane mode, battery cell fully charged via charge port, the slow charging output fails to get my phone fully charged 2x.As far as the solar panel, instructions state it takes about 4 days for cell to fully charge depending on variables such as weather/clouds, etc. Even left in the bright Texas sun for up to five days, cell does not get above two bars from the confusing light display at bottom of the device. After five days I went to charge my phone that was on 14% and didn’t even get to a quarter of the way full before battery was depleted.I have had better luck with cheaper ones that lasted me years. As far as utilizing the solar charge, if you really want to survive, do yourself a favor and don’t depend on it. Despite being disappointed on the amount of charges it would deliver, I chose to use it knowing I could possibly get at least a charge out of it when necessary. I discovered this on a trip in sunny South Dakota and in times of need was left powerless and unable to contact necessary people once I reached an area I could have service.Absolutely awful that a company prides themselves on survival gear for unpredictable situations would sell such a completely unreliable product that fails to perform when needed most.

I love the simple directions and the ease in use. In the winter we have power outages and now I will always be able to charge my phones and flashlight. Great produce, great delivery, and a great value for the price.

I like the fact that when it charges my phone or flashlights, it recharged on its own.
