Second times the Charm.
Ok, this is embarrassing to post but I bought this to clean out my no-no region. There, I said it. I don't know any of you in real life so what's the harm right? Now, on to the product! When I first got this product, I had no idea what Nair did or the duration required for it to be effective. So the first time I used it, almost nothing came off. That being said, I will not take off a star because of my stupidity, it's not them it's me.The second time I tried it I made sure my roommates were OUT of the house so I can have a good 2 hours to...do...things....to the hair on the lower half of my body. The smell is definitely something worth noting. It's strong but not toxic and won't burn your nose or make your eyes water. It's a very annoying chemical smell that you can ignore by doing a little light reading on the toilet as you wait for your hair to melt off.Yes, Melt off. That's what my hair did. They literally disintegrated to the point where they lost their coarse texture and were easily wiped off with a tower. Now, my lower half is smooth and aired out. Very safe, no irritation.

Great for all 'bikini' areas if used with caution.
Just two words of advice so to speak:1.) $16 shipped? This used to be an $8 add-on item and other places still sell it for that. I'm usually proud of Amazon's pricing strategy/competitiveness.2.) "Do not use on head or face, around eyes, in nose, in ears, on nipples, perianal or genital areas." - I've done it and I'm just fine. The key is to learn how long it takes to break down your particular hair, which will always break down faster than your skin (avoid the most sensitive of membranes though) and time is just right. Also, do not get any of this lotion lodged anywhere it shouldn't be. Place it only where need be and wipe AWAY from the sensitive areas. Practice makes perfect - don't go too close at first. As you get more experienced, I've found you can use this pretty much anywhere.

Sucess with consistency! great product that works!
I purchased nair in hopes of removing unwanted body with no stubble or any signs of hair growth on my body. First off! I did not have any reaction to the product! I read countless horror stories of nair burning and discoloring the skin leaving painful rashes that would last for weeks! I do in fact have sensitive skin but I have never experienced any of the reported symptoms. Now for my experience with the product.. I have been shaving my chest for almost 7 years now so you can imagine its very thick. I used the product as direct I applied on a small testing sight and waited 24 hours to see if I would have a reaction, which I did not. The following day I applied on my entire chest waiting the maximum 15 minutes and rinsed in the shower. The hair pulled right off! At first I thought it was the answer to my prayers only to realized that it left patches of hair and even stuble. The end result looked like a bad shave job.. I decided to do it again the next day same result so I finished with my usual shave routine. Finally I noticed it took longer for the hair to grow back and wasn't even close to the thickness and size it once was! I've continued use with the product and I'm almost 97% baby smooth hair free. Still with the same bottle I bought.. If you have Ares with thick hair or that have been shaved for years. Nair will not get rid of your hair the first try! But if you begin a normal body hair care routine with it you will eventually get the results you want I was disappointed at first but after continued use it turned out to be a great product and will always have it on hand!!

Works Great
I used this product this past weekend in my pelvic area, which was the reasoning behind me purchasing this product. I have somewhat sensitive skin in that area as do most people. From the other reviews some people said it smelt bad and others said there wasn't a bad smell. There is a small odor but nothing to freak out about to where you need to be burning a candle. You must apply it pretty good or it will leave hair behind. While the product was working there was somewhat of a cooling sensation, not a burning one like the nair for women. After I did a small test area I jumped in and covered everything, I mean everything. Then later that night I surprised the lady and she was really excited. The fact this product doesn't burn makes me want to use it in other places. You must follow the instructions, 8 minutes is a long time so take your phone in there to keep your self busy.

Not worth it!
I was very disappointed with this product for removing hair. I had to reapply Nair three times because it left patches of hair. Even after that, I had to shave some areas and it left me with minor chemical burns. To make matter worse, I had stubble in one or two days after applying Nail. I know it doesn't specify how long the affect will last, but I could have just shaved the areas and had the same affect. It depended on the area, but the hair removal was spotty and didn't last long at all.

This thing never worked for me.
This thing never worked for me. I tried it multiple times with same results. The way it removes the hair is not efficient. You have to use a lot of cream and it wouldn't remove the hair as close as a trimmer and still grows back just as thick.

One bottle does not go far
I love this stuff. It gave a wonderful close "shave" and it didn't burn me (I was careful, and I have hardy skin). However, for this price, I don't think it's worth it. It's a wonderful product, and it sure as hell unclogged my shower afterwards, but it is rather pricey for what it does: I can achieve similar results with a cheap inline razor and some shaving gel. Plus that's faster than this.If you have the money to throw away, go ahead and use this, but if you're a little bit less picky and want to save money, just buy a can of shaving gel and a razor.
