Great organizer!
As part of a major closet reorganization, I was looking for some more effective organizers. The ones I had at the time were a pain, because they were all different sizes, relatively small, and were stacked on top of each other making retrieval an ordeal. So I was looking for larger organizers, preferably ones that went "deeper" into my closet, and came across the Super Satchel line. I ordered a selection of different ones to try them out, and am very happy with them. The 9007AB is a large, well-built organizer, with a well-designed divider system, good latches, a convenient handle, and best of all, an integrated method of eliminating the inconvenience of having multiple organizers stacked on top of each other. There can be up to 18 divided compartments, and the box ships with a full complement of dividers. There are up to 15 configurable compartments, and 3 non-configurable ones. The see-through plastic is thick and doesn't have a flimsy feel that some other organizers have, and there are structures that reinforce the edges, further strengthening the box. The cover is securely attached with a substantial set of hinges that extend 2/3rds of the hinge side, allowing the cover to easily flip open without worry that they'll wear out over time. However, on the one I got, the cover is slightly convex in the center, so if I were to store tiny parts in it, they might slip out and mix when lifting the box up by its handle. I only have the one as of now, so I don't know if this is a recurring issue or not. However, most people probably wouldn't be storing very small items in an organizer this large, so even if it is a recurring issue, I doubt it would affect many people. The latches are also well-designed, in that they're separately attached and hinged, rather than being flimsy plastic extruded from the main body that could wear out and snap off over time. They snap shut with no ambiguity about whether or not they're actually closed, and it doesn't seem likely they could pop open by themselves. The dividers are superior to many others, in that they use a friction-based rail that won't pop out if the case is flexed (which really can't happen anyway due to its rigidity), and are sized so there's tension that enhances the friction effect to keep the divider in place to prevent tiny items from sneaking underneath. Given their size, they are definitely sturdier than one might expect. However, do not lose those dividers, because I have been unable to find replacement packs! Finally, as part of its design, this organizer has edges that are designed to fit onto rails mounted to the sides of a storage case. Artbin sells a nice one (also available from Amazon) that allows for a variety of configurations of up to 6 organizers (though if you were just using this one, the 9007AB, you could only fit 3 due to its height). This gets rid of the stacking problem quite nicely, and because the rack system allows almost every Super Satchel to be used regardless of size, is superior to other multi-organizer options that aren't nearly as flexible.Summary:Pros: Sturdy, well-designed handle, hinges and latches. Great divider design. Rack-ready makes for ease of multiple-unit storage.Cons: Space between dividers and cover (may only be an issue with my unit, need more to find out if it's recurring).Given the price, I find this an excellent value for a storage organizer.

Works well for organization
I use “ArtBin 9007AB Super Satchel with Removable Dividers” to organize and store my beginner sewing supplies. The size of the container is quite large and can hold a lot.The downside is that only certain sections are configurable. For example, I’m unable to store my magnetic pin tray because it’s too large for the compartments. Also, certain dividers go into certain rows and if you’re not paying attention to the faint lettering are turning them in the right direction, they will not fit properly.

Best Discovery!
I now own several Art Bin Super Satchels with Removable Dividers. I discovered these while reorganizing my office space. I use them for sorting extra supplies in my home office, small parts left over from projects, they work great in my sewing & craft room for sorting bias tape, elastic, embellishments, rubber stamps, small quilting supplies etc. I also have one for dog grooming supplies. They are sturdy and the dividers are easy to put in place. I like to label the front for easy viewing when stacked, and the inside divider so I know what goes where. I can easily return what I've used to its proper place. I also color code the exterior labels, yellow for office, pink for quilting, blue for sewing, green for card making etc. I keep an empty one for travel in case I want to take a project along for the ride. The latches snap tight and no movement of what's inside and they stay stacked without moving. All I know is these keep me organized. The possibilities are endless!

Sturdy, great closure, carrying handle, nice size - great product!
I like Art Bin containers a lot as they are very sturdy, as are their closures. This is a great size and stackable with all other varieties of 'Super Satchel'.There are 3 fixed rows inside this bin, then the dividers can break up those rows and be placed throughout (or not used at all). The only down side I can really state is that if you over-stuff the compartments at all, it bows out the fixed dividers, making the removable dividers not as functional as they'll pop out on one side or leave gaps. I didn't really over-stuff, I just tried to put something in that was millimeters larger than the size of the row. So I guess it would be nice if the fixed dividers were movable - or at least one of them removable. Despite this, I still think they are great containers and I also have the variety that does not have any dividers whatsoever to accommodate larger items.I use these for many items including:- Scrapbook embellishments, accessories- Jewelry findings, beads, etc- Various art supplies

Great way to organise your stuff
Really good way to organise your stuff into compartments. Note, mine came with only 9 dividers when the listing says 12.

A System for getting organized
I build and display Lego creations to the public so have amassed a collection of over 100,000 pieces of Lego that I need to keep organized. This can be the same story for so many hobbies, massive amounts of small pieces that need to be sorted. Why a divider box?I spent quite a bit of time researching methods of sorting and storing as there are an infinite number of ways one can become organized. There are drawers, Divider bins, tackle boxes, etc. I settled on divider bins because of their portability over drawers, and ease of organization over tackle boxes. It's nice to have 20+ similar items sitting beside me in an open bin, that I can easily see. Opposed to searching through bins to find the item I am looking for.Why ArtiBin Super Satchel series? When I decided to get organized, I needed a system. Not just one bin that I got on sale, and then another, and another. I needed a system of bins that would be consistently sized, be around a couple years from now when I need to expand, be able to come in different sizes, and be expandable, and lastly, it had to look good. Art Bin Super Satchel isn't the cheapest on the market, but I would argue it's one of the best. I own several of each of the 3 different sizes in the super satchel series, the regular, the slim and the double deep. Each have removable dividers, which allow me to expand a compartment if it's getting full, have locking lids, and are 15 by 14 by 3-1/2-inches so they stack without sliding around. The plastic is a strong but non brittle semi transparent which allows the contents to be viewed from the outside, or the front when stacked. As an added bonus 2 fit perfectly side by side on my IKEA 15" deep Billy bookcases.DurabilityI purchased my first bins in March of 2014 and now own over 20 total. The only issue I've had is the lock clip popped off 2 of the bins and one vanished, the one that didn't, I just popped back in place. The only other issue is occasionally having the divider slide up on the slim bin letting the contents of one compartment migrate over to the neighboring compartment.I don't need to say it, but yes I recommend these bins, and will be buying more in the future.
