A tiny amount of this really does thicken gravy and sauces, which is a real boost to anyone who has been on low carb or slimming style diets, which avoid any kind of cornflour, plain or sauce flour. Loses one star as it is hard to mix - I use a tiny milk frother to whisk it into a little cool water before adding to the sauce. Beware it can have a laxative effect so use sparingly (not that you need much anyway).

Does a great job in my high protein ice cream mixes that need a bit more body. Will last for ages.

I haven't used the Xantham Gum yet. I've seen gluten free recipes that suggest it.It was well packaged, a good price and quick delivery.

It’s tasteless and note noticeable and the effect is almost instant. I only bought it to thicken my smoothies but I want to try it on other foods and see how well it works as well. Very satisfied with the order. It arrived fast

The item itself it very good and useful.Although I cannot say the same withe delivery. It arrived late and after contacting amazon customer service.

Used to make Gluten free bread and it works, only used a teaspoon and helped the bread achieve the desired consistency, all good and I have lots left for future baking.
