I bought this to start off a fuse bead collection without spending too much on something I'd never done before, and it's a lot better than what I expected. So far, I've made about 10 videogame sprites, and the beads melted evenly, not too quickly, but not too slowly, and they hold together really well. It also comes with all the basic colors you need, a few different shades of most of them, and even a few glow in the dark colors. Obviously, the seller can't provide every color out there in one set, but it's more than enough to get started and make some really awesome designs, and the colors are all great quality. The added bits are great, too. It has two sets of tweezers, two bead dishes, a bunch of keychains, tassles, and other accessories for making things, and of course, it comes with pegboards. I only use the square pegboard and the octagon pegboard, but the flowers and hearts and stuff are great if you want to make those kinds of designs. My wife used a few of them since we turned it into a couple's hobby. The patterns included are simple patterns to get you into 3D projects and teach you how to get started in general, but the real fun comes from making your own designs or replicating 2D sprites. If I had one complaint, it would be that the case doesn't really hold together well, but I just kept all my beads in the ziplocks and pull them out as I need them, so I don't have any spilling problems, and I really don't care. Do not carry it by the handle. All in all, this is a cost-effective way to get a large, quality set of fuse beads and all the accessories you need to get started and learn the ropes.

This is a great starter or supplementary set. The beads don't melt quite as well as perler, but its a minor difference and they are perfectly compatible with one another. I recommend getting additional boards that interlock or an extra large board.Another reason to buy this is specifically to use alongside perler as the colors on offer are unique and useful for creating something with a bit of detail to help get the nuance right. Using a combo of these with perler gives you plenty of options.My only two gripes would be the number of pink beads included, as its a color I don't need all that often, and to have ~5 or 6 varieties of pink could have been better replaced with almost any other variation of staple colors like red, blue, green, etc, and two, the square pegboard broke after a week or two of use when dropped from about 2 or 3 feet onto a vinyl floor. Not that big of a deal as I had a larger board that wasn't included, but something to be aware of.Overall, I am very pleased with this kit, and this it is a fantastic value. I would not hesitate to but again.

An absolute bonanza of beads, our kids loves it. Storage container is pretty flimsy, but we bough it for the beads, so not disappointed.

This is a great kit for the money. The beads are separated in bags so they aren’t all mixed up. The compartments are large and aren’t overflowing, and makes scooping different colors for your project easy and mess free. Th3 box itself is sturdy and thick. Just make sure you press and click the sides when closing and storing the beads. I have two minor complaints.. 1. The peg board fastens different than the my boards I have so you can’t attach for bigger projects. I just purchased some extras. 2. The compartment dividers in the box slide up easily so you have to press them down. Otherwise, the bottoms slide up and your beads start mixing together. These beads are a little softer than the name brand but the colors are an identical match. I recommend turning the heat on your iron down a little because it does cause the beads to melt a little faster which closes the holes on your finished project. But I’m very happy with my purchase, and will probably buy again when we need it.

My son (9 years old) has been using and making things with pearler beads for about 2 years now. So I've done a fair amount of shopping around, trying different sets from different places.This is definitely one of our top favorites purchases so far. Really high quality beads that melt nicely, has many colors THAT ARE ORGANIZED (which is more important than you'd think).One of my favorite things is that each color comes in a tiny zip lock bag, to keep them organized even if you accidentally drop the box, which is AMAZING.Lastly, it's hard to find Glow in the dark beads and this set comes with a row of 5 colors that glow (yellow, orange, purple, pink and green).Honestly this set is wonderful for people that are new to pearler beads as well as people who have been using them for awhile. I love them and we'll definitely be buying from this set/place/person again!Highly recommended! 😊

I am in love. I love perler beads. These are very nice with the variety of colors and work well. I have made many magnets and can make many more still. A fun box for projects.
