Impeller on old pump would not rotate even though the wheel would
My pump looked good, nothing was stuck in it, the wheel/shaft would rotate fine and and was not jammed, BUT the impeller would not rotate when the shaft and wheel was being rotated by the belt. I bought this pump and the impeller rotates as it should when the pulley turns it and now the water is pumped out of the washer drum correctly.When it comes to durability, I don't know. The OEM pump lasted 30 years!!!

My washer is working properly now.
The water wasn't draining out of my washing machine. My husband figured out that this was the part that needed to be replaced. In 15-20 minutes after the part came in the mail, my husband had it installed and the washer working great!
