CliC Original Reader Rectangular Reading Glasses, Blue, 1 Count (Pack of 1) + 1.25

As some have said, the glasses are a little tight for someone like me with a melon head, but they are still usable (and I do have a very large head). The lenses are very good and provide a sharp view which is sometimes a problem with some store-bought glasses. The blue color of the pair I bought is striking without being overbearing and have generated multiple comments from even random passersby. I also found them to be very sturdy when I have gotten them caught on a bag strap I was removing from over my head. Sturdy, good-looking and good value. The only reason I don't give five stars is for the tight fit, which is partially my fault because of my oversize genes, but the company should have taken that into account. Otherwise, I recommend whole-heartedly.

If you don't like getting attention, these are not for you. I'm often surprised by people's astonished reactions to the act of putting them on and taking them off; I'm so accustomed to pulling them apart, that I forget how unusual the viewing public finds it.I have been wearing Clics for nearly a year. I pretend that I don't need glasses, but of course I do and have for nearly a decade. Popped the standard diopter lenses out, and put in my bifocal prescription. It worked great, despite a warning from my optical shop. (And even if they had broken from the experiment, the price is right: I could try it again.)Previously I was wearing glasses on a chain. Besides the various difficulties noted by another reviewer, I also found that the plastic loops that connect the chain to the arms of the glasses have a bad habit of stretching. Then the glasses slip off the chain at inappropriate times and the frames break.I call the color of mine "magenta" - which may or may not be the same as the online "red" - I bought them in a shop (**gasp**). My short hair is not a problem, but I agree that reading in bed doesn't work. So I use a different pair for those occasions.

I have no problems with these glasses....I knew of them and know fellow agers who own them. One problem that I don't like that I have not found....but maybe it's just my poor searcher abilities....I would like a hard case for them. I can't find one online...help if anyone knows where to get one. I keep em in my "man bag" that I use to carry to work.

Solved one of life's little annoyances. After using the computer for awhile, I'd need to refresh my tea...and take off my glasses so I could see to walk to the kitchen. In the kitchen, I'd find that I needed my glasses to read the back of the tea package. Oops, glasses left back in the office. Or I have them tucked in the front of my shirt, and inevitably lose them as I bend down to pick up the dropped tea package. NO MORE! I unclick these glasses, leave them on my neck, they don't dangle/tangle like granny glasses, they just sit comfortably ready for me to click them back in place whenever I need to read something. Especially useful for doing odd chores around the house. For those who commented that you can't read in bed - yup that's true. But I must say it's easy to have regular readers bedside all the time so not the same annoyance. I wish I'd bought these years ago.

These are very narrow and if you don't have a relatively thin face they probably won't fit. If these are intended specifically for women, they are not listed that way. I had another pair for a few years that was a different brand and apparently no longer available from Amazon but they fit much better.

I adore my CliC Adjustable Front Connect Readers. The flexible cord keeps them stationary either on my face or on my chest. I can garden or work in my studio, and they are exactly where I need them all day long. I have neck issues and these very light weight frames do not bother me at all. The magnet is strong and works perfectly. This is a well designed and well made product, and I will not need 20 pairs of glasses to put in every nook and cranny.
