My doctor recommended a different brand but it's really pricey. Has anyone had any experience using both and noticing any differencs?

In the past I have used a different brand. I tried the now brand and it works as well as the pricey ones. I had a really bad case of c-diff a few years ago and was told by my doctor to use this specific probiotic. It has been very effective. I hope this helps!

How does this compare with Florastor? Looks like the same ingredients...saccharomyces...but huge price difference.

That's is what I noticed too, but Florastor is a better product and that is reflected in the price. I buy both of them and take turns so buying the Florastor is not so painful, hope this helps. Also the NOW products wants you to consume more pills than Florastor.

Works for my dog

My dog's floppy ears tend to cause a yeasty-type irritation in her inner ears. Doing a little research and figuring that it was probably candida, I got this supplement to counteract that. It has worked like a charm.For others who might want to try this, I sprinkle the capsule contents on my dog's food in the morning - two capsules on MWF, and one capsule on other days.

Great as a preventive measure for travel
