Doesn't fit 5/16 nylon, collapses tube
Doesn't fit the standard 5/16 Dorman line; the black fittings with the kit work great but for some reason these 800-116 fuel connectors do not work at all. The nylon will only push over the first couple of ridges before it gets too tight and then buckles in the Dorman installation tool. Tried half a dozen times, tried loosening the nylon first with a hot air gun and also with boiling water just the tip of the nylon, but in all cases the fitting will go over just the first couple ridges then cause the nylon to bunch up and balloon out rather than sliding onto the fitting. I took a caliper to it, and they did measure several thousandths of an inch larger in diameter than the black fittings but otherwise seemed similar. Not sure what the deal is, but I'm ordering some Needa fittings which look to have the more standard barb on them, unfortunately they are some time out for delivery according to Amazon...

Dorman = meh
I wasn't positive if these new-style quick disconnects would work with '80s era Ford "duck bill" clips, but yep, they're interchangeable. A lot more convenient, too. There is a clear quality difference between these Dorman parts and the similar factory clips on my Saab, but I guess that's what the Dorman brand stands for so no surprises. So, four stars because they were easy enough to install and work - not five because I'm pretty much certain I'll be replacing them again when these fail.

Perfect fit on 2006 Dodge Ram 1500
Used a caulk gun to get these on the end of the nylon line also bought off Amazon. Look for the YT video demonstrating how to do it. Go slow pressing about 5mm at a time and used some petroleum jelly as lube.

I found that Dorman's white connectors are a real challenge ...
I found that Dorman's white connectors are a real challenge to make lines with when using Dorman's specialty tool and their nylon fuel line. The black connectors are much easier to work with. However, the throat on the black connectors (at least on the 5/16" & 3/8" connectors) is slightly deeper than these fittings. So, I had to use these in order for the fitting to seat over the barbed inlet of the fuel reservoir in my application.
