RESCUE!RESCUE! Disposable Summer Yellowjacket Trap - Central & Eastern Formula - 6 Traps

I live in NW Montana almost to the Canadian border and I use to buy the yellow topped plastic traps, but when I couldn't get them locally I ordered the green topped ones because they stated they were for western US. Well I am totally amazed how much they attract the yellow jackets and if that wasn't enough to keep me buying them the added trapping of black & green flies is a great, great bonus!!! It is best to hang them in the early morning or late evening to avoid being stung, they become more active as the day warms up, best if the traps get some sun, the more the better.

This was super easy to set up, and and on the very first afternoon I had 3 dead ones, and then noticed they were about 8 more circling around the bag. I can't wait to see how many are in it tomorrow morning! Lately I have had a vicious Yellow Jacket problem, and they get really aggressive out here toward dusk. Be sure to buy the right bait for whichever side of the country you live on. In North Carolina, the Eastern bait is doing a terrific job!!

Oh no, I wrote a bad review but I just read that I bought the wrong trap. I live west of the rockies and bought the east of the rockies traps. Hard to believe that it makes such difference.I don't know how to retract my last post.Sorry,Jeff

These yellowjacket traps work so well that it's kind of shocking. Last year I deployed two of them in the middle of the summer, and they both filled up with yellowjackets. This spring I put out the taps early, and they caught a few emerging queens (I can tell from the yellow/black pattern on the abdomen), and now there are literally ZERO yellowjackets on my property. No queens means no nests! I can enjoy the outside again without getting buzzed by these annoying buggers. Meanwhile the beneficial honeybees are happier than ever.If you think I'm exaggerating, just buy one and see what happens. I almost feel bad for the yellowjackets ... almost.

Easy to install. Just add water. Had to supply my own string. I thought that was odd. Yes these to trap bee's. But not very quickly. They don't attract them very well. I hung up all 6 and still have a big bee problem. I think you might look for something else. If I can find a nest I spray it at night.

We live in the woods and have a real problem with yellow jackets. These traps really do work. Does not get rid of all the yellow jackets but catches a crap load of them.

Made the mistake once of getting the East Coast Rescues instead of the West Coast Rescues. Did not catch one yellow jacket with the Easties. The Westies on the other hand worked great.

We were having a major Yellowjacket problem. We have put out 5 traps and we have probably trapped 1000’s. No more issues with people getting attacked at our house.
