it will help with cracking and peeling of cuz it seals over painted leather , just make sure to prep and clean painted area your going to fix then when sealing make sure to allow fully to dry between coats cuz some times it can leave a tacky feeling if not dried properly

Is this a good product for fixing patent leather that has lost its top coat (shiny finish)?

Can you use this on any color shoe paint or only white?

I e used it on different shoes that were made of leather, black, brown, red and etc. It's just a Acrylic high gloss shine. I mainly used it on my Christian Louboutins shoes. It dries clear even though it is white in color

Whats the difference between the other high gloss finisher labeled "satin"?

All the Acrylic FInishers contain a different shine to them. Matte contains the least amount of shine while the High Gloss contains the most. Order of shine is as follows - Matte, Satin, Regular then High Gloss.

It protects well!!

This is a really great item to have. When you apply the finisher the consistency is like water. It spreads evenly around your surface. Once dried it looks glossy and very smooth with no brush marks. It works well when paired with an airbrush. I think it is good at protecting against scratches and water preventing damage to your paint. I used brush for phone case and airbrush for shoes!

Used on acrylic paint pens on a designer leather bag

I used this to protect art from Marc Jacobs Bark Jacobs event on my handbag. Looking good still! Applied back in spring time. I think I did 3 coats and let dry over night in between layers. APPLY IN ONE DIRECTION do not rub it back and forth over art. Very liquidy!

Initial result I wanted

Purchased this Acrylic finisher for my work key clip. Applied it and came out great. Over time the leather has shined though (with daily use) so the matte look is not permanent. The size is not huge so eye on that. Once concern that I had when I received it was there it appeared to have little "plastic" dots which would stay stuck on to my project. I would have to remove them to finish correctly. Will still see how I can get better at using it.
