This product is made from aluminum.The original locks were heavy steel locks.The spinner has been aluminum and is still.Both locks came dented. This does not impact functionality however for the cost not really sure why charge something that worked. I looked at my old lock sets and the locks were Master Lock brand.You can buy master locks two for under $70.00However to get the spinner and rubber cover costs over $300.00In my opinion it’s way over priced.I may just buy 2 master locks and put spinners and covers on them.At least I feel better secured.Now it’s over $400.00 In cost.

These locks handle the weather flawlessly in the summertime I use penetrating oil to keep them moving freely I will always use slick locks for their superiority with security and quality craftmanship

I’ve purchased a few different types of these locks over the year & although I have no idea if anyone has ever tried to break into them these by far are the nicest. I live & work in the salt air & it gets into everything especially keyholes. As you can see in the 2 pictures these have both a cover sleeve & a rubber cover to protect that so the keyhole & the lock itself is protected from the elements. A quick rotation of the sleeve to access the key & they go on & off easily. I bought this truck used & the previous owner installed the brackets & I bought these locks to match. So far I’m very satisfied.

My item works like it supposed to and everything was there!

Just need to make sure the sleeves are on the right direction before installing the locking clip. Key should fit and open, if not the sleeves are on backwards. great product.
