Turbo MAX Ionic Dryer

Great! Light weight, dries my hair quickly and doesn’t get too hot.

This was a replacement for one that died. This is the best hairdryer. It’s so worth the money.

This hair dryer is light weight and easy to hold. It has two settings for ionization. My hair is thin so I use the lower setting. It works great. I believe the higher setting is for thick hair so I can’t comment on how well that works. The dryer is powerful. It is noisy so be prepared. It has a concentration attachment which I don’t use.

I only received this a short time ago, so I only used it once. What I can say is that it is smaller than it looks, so the weight is distributed better than in the last blow dryer I reviewed which was also listed as lightweight (Infiniti Pro Digital Conair which has a longer nozzle and therefore not as balanced). This InStyler Turbo Max Ionic Dryer is considerably lightweight compared to very old models of blow dryers and slightly lighter than the previously italicized Infiniti which is also listed as lightweight. What I like most about this dryer compared to the other mentioned is not only is the weight distributed more evenly that it doesn't feel heavier on one part of your hand/wrist than the other, but there is better control of the intensity of the blower itself. I don't care for a dryer that blows my hair around as it is drying. It's like comparing the up and down arrows on this information box to using the slide bar which allows more control for viewing the text. This InStyler allows not only the lesser blowing action, not only because it isn't controlled purely by a button, but rather a dial which allows a little more control by the user to set it where the blowing intensity can be better controlled. While the Infinity is prettier to look at, this seems as though it is not only slightly lighter than the Infiniti, but it offers more control in the dial to not blow the hair in all directions as it dries it. It also comes in a box that is less contrived to actually put the dryer back into it in order to store it if you don't plan to use it for a bit. Hopefully, it will hold up for years to come as some of the older dryers I have at home. Reasons for the purchase is the Ionic feature which is healthier for hair and the lighter weight. Best feature is the control dial. My older dryer could be a door stop compared to this InStyler Turbo Max Ionic model.

This blow dryer has a lot of nice features, as it is gentle on your hair and has a graded dial for blowing strength. The major drawback is how heavy it is, primarily due to the hefty power cord. It is the thickest,heaviest, and most industrial power cord I've ever seen on a personal appliance.

This dryer is AMAZING. I have high density fine curly hair that reaches my shoulders and this dryer cut my drying time in half (maybe even more like one third). I use it with the Xtava Orchid Diffuser (it fits if you take out the inner ring of the diffuser) and my hair looks so so good! It's a bit louder than my old dryer, but I guess that's what happens with a more powerful dryer. Get it - you won't have any regrets! (Black Turbo Max model)

I plugged this InStyler Turbo Max hair dryer in and it immediately started overheating. The fan was not turning. I had to rip the plug from the wall before it blew up and burned my condo down. Returned the next day and was refunded.

Arrived on time and works great drying my thick coarse hair rapidly. This is my third purchase of this model of hair dryer.
