It’s super easy to use and pairs beautifully with my phone/the app and it prints instantly! I am not very good with the instax camera, so I am glad I can print my memories from my phone just as easily. The color matches my camera too!

This is really cool!!! We bought our daughter an instant camera last year. uggghhhh....Since you don't get to see the picture before you press the button, she took MANY terrible pics!! Lots of pics of people with half a head or pics of the floor.. She couldn't get the hang of the viewfinder. This completely solves that problem. Download the app onto your phone, then use your phone as an instant camera! It's literally that simple. You can also print pics in your library and link it with friends that have the same Instaxx mini! The picture quality is very good!! My wife and I are VERY impressed!! I think my wife may have stolen it from our daughter!! LOL!!! If you are on the fence about buying it, don't be!! It is really great and dummy-proof!!

For starters, this was, hands down, the easiest and most effortless device I've set up in decades, and possible the easiest printing experience I've ever had. I would give it six stars for ease of use if I could.Print quality is solid, which I expect from Fujifilm (I used to use their actual film in undergrad photo class). The color does tend to be a bit desaturated, which I'm not crazy about but it's clearly a stylistic thing, and if you want your pics to have that vaguely nostalgic polaroid look you're going to be in heaven. Worth noting is that the app lets you adjust brightness, contrast, and saturation, so you can fiddle with that. I'm mostly looking to just print small photos for reference use (to make art), so I have no need for most of the extra features, although the sharing one might come in handy.I've included one of the prints (with the auto filter) and the original for comparison. Any blurriness is on me.Finally, I also like that it uses actual film. Maybe that's just me being nostalgic, but there's a magic to film and watching the pictures develop before your eyes!

For those who are not familiar with the old school Polaroid camera where the flash would flip up, the pictures would always come out either washed out or with deep contrast, sometimes blurry with loads of browns, yellows and reds. This printer reminds me of that.I noticed a lot of reviews on here about the product printing with lines or too dark. Mine came just fine and prints as I expected it to.It does print more towards the warm spectrum of color. Which means photos might come out with more yellows, reds, or browns because of how they were originally shot. (In sunlight, outdoors, even under soft white light bulb)I have learned it’s best to up the vibrancy and the contrast (this depends on the contrast of the original photo as it can print a bit washed out) and to sharpen any image a bit as well.When doing any photo editing it always best on a case by case basis.

So a few things. The photo quality is NOT as good as Amazon photo prints. However, you can do them at home and print directly from your phone. The setup is easy and the insta developing film is also great. I think my only regret is not thinking through the purchase enough. I have little kids and they’re why I bought it, but you can’t pin the pictures to a cork board bc there are chemicals in the photos and you shouldn’t puncture them. We ended up trying string and using clothes pins. Last thing is I don’t know if those photos will still be good in 20 years. Maybe the other paper printers wouldn’t be any better. No idea. To this printers credit, the photos come our way better than the Polaroid style cameras you can buy. I don’t regret the purchase, but I’m still kind of mixed on it.

100% Absolutely LOVE this printer! 10/10 recommend to everyone. I bought this for myself as a birthday gift because I have been wanting to print out these photos and I love this polaroid style so much! The pictures look fantastic, and the app is extremely easy to use. The only thing I have an issue with is the charger cord because it is so short that it makes it a little difficult. That is my only qualm and it is definitely not that big of a problem. If you love the style of Polaroid photos this is even better than the actual camera because you can use your phone and take great quality photos, as well as print out old photos you have taken in the past. Another plus is that you can print out as many of the same photo as you want so multiple people can have the same photo! I’m in love.

THRILLED by this purchase! I have the instax mini (I believe 7) & it’s taken me years to learn how to take a good picture with it (lightening, focus, etc) & while I love having the mini Polaroid pics, I HATE how much work it is just to get a good one! Not to mention the film is pricey to just be getting 3 good pics and the rest throw aways! But this printer is the end of all that nonsense! I love that ANY pic can be printed on Polaroid film & I’m getting my monies worth of a pack of film! No more carrying your phone AND camera - just snap pics on your phone & print to the printer and wa-la! Highly recommend this purchase if you struggle taking pictures with the actual instax mini!
