Suede Nubuck Color

I ordered the “chocolate” to color a new pair of sandals. This is my first time using a product like this and trying to dye anything. It came out soo good! It was easy. In the picture you will see the original color of the sandal was a camel color and i dyed them the chocolate brown color and left one strap on each color for interest. There was no mess, no fuss. I let them dry overnight and did another coat. I love the idea that i can change the color of shoes. I am ready to order another color next.

I was weary of buying a spray because of overspray and chemical smells, so I was excited to find this sponge option. This stuff just saved a pair of $120 Clarks that were bleached grey from New England weather and road salt. This was easy to apply thanks to the sponge tip applicator. This also made it easy to touch up spots that needed a second coat rather than doing each entire shoe twice. Obviously they are not perfect in places where the original nubuck was damaged, but they look a uniform black again which makes any flaws blend in so they are almost impossible to notice. I was tempted to deduct a star just based on the size of the bottle, which is smaller than I expected, but I think I'll get a few uses out of it, so it's definitely worth the money. I'm going to do everyone a favor and include what I was looking for when trying to find this product - PHOTOS. The boot toe on the left in the first picture shows the bleached out grey look from before, and the one on the right is after one coat. The second picture is after a second touch up just on the toes. They look almost new again. VERY happy with this product. Would definitely buy again!

I wear Ecco boots and just got back from two weeks on a photo shoot. I am a nature photographer specializing in outdoor scenes and animal life in the Southwest. I spend a lot of time hiking around the Sonoran Desert and the canyon country of Southern Utah and Northern Arizona, and my boots take an awful beating. After this last trip, my boots, which originally were chestnut colored, were sand and gravel scraped pale when I got home. Before using the color applicator, I cleaned my boots. I've tried several leather cleaning products recommended specifically for Ecco boots, but unless there is a stain to be removed, plain soap and water and a paper towel does as good a job for me. The Tarrago did a surprisingly nice job in restoring their dark brown color, and moreover I could polish the thin film the applicator left with a brush, so they have a soft shine. I won't say this Tarrago color applicator restored my boots to like-new condition. That would be too much. But it did restore them to a very-well-cared-for appearance, and that was more than any other product I've tried has been able to do. I had no idea how far a can of Tarrago Nubuck Color would go, so I bought two cans. I'm glad I did, but one can is going to last me several trips. I couldn't be happier with a product than I am with this Tarrago.

A nice color restorer, easy to apply but requires a little patience not over apply to a certain area of the shoe to avoid color spots, my suede shoe looks fresh like new now,

I think the photo speaks for itself! Left: before use. Right: after use. I got this to restore my Uggs. Color and quality is great. Super easy to use and worth the purchase. One bottle has been enough to cover both boots (they’re a size 5 in women’s). I was a little rough on the sponge causing it did tear off. So try not to be rough. Buuuuut needless to say my recommendation, definitely buy. I hope this helps! If it does give it a thumbs up 😁

Just okay. Applicator badly designed caused narrow line streaks instead of the whole diameter of the sponge. Exprndive for quality and quantity. Seller used snail mail despite paying $4 from NH. Took 6 days to arrive from the time of order.

Excelente para rescatar el color de los zapatos! Tenía tiempo pensando en que podría comprar para salvar este par de zapatos que son mis favoritos. Vi este producto y quise ponerlos de un tono más oscuro. Y el resultado supero mía espectativas. Ahora puedo seguir usando mis zapatos con nuevo look y nueva vida. Estas fotos fue a penas acababa de pintar. Cuando secaron el resultado fue mucho mejor.

I wasn’t ready to retire my beloved Adidas, so bought this dye. So glad I did! From my photos you can see how good it worked. Just hope the dye doesn’t run if they get wet.

This is a great product! I used it to colour my dark blue boots black and it worked fantastically!!!

I used the suede colour on the fur lining of my Birkenstock sandals. The colour was starting to fade around my toes. It worked so well. It covered the stains and did not put colour on my toes. I am so happy I found it. Thank you

I am rating the dye itself, not the applicator. The applicator applies the dye unevenly and fell apart after about five minutes of use, so I had to switch to a pointed painting brush instead. Because I initially used the applicator, one shoe turned out darker. The shoe shown in the picture was covered with one layer of #39 dye using an aquarelle brush and the result turned out even and satisfactory.
