My 500 "turkey gun" - the plastic one with camo ... has a small plastic rear sling connector. anyone know if UM sling pin will fit?

Get a drill bit and match it to the hole, and let me know the size, and I'll measure the pin on the sling

Does this work with the maverick 88?

The Maverick 88 has the same magazine tube dimensions and threading as other Mossberg shotguns such as the 500 & 590 so this should fit with no problem.

Will it fit a 20 gauge also

I have a newer version 20 and it did not fit

Is the swivel loop supposed to lock in place? the spring plunger will not tighten on either of mine....user error or defect?

I had trouble with mine at first and after a couple of trys finally got it to work! But if you have tried it and it still doesn't work then it's defective.
