Excellent mower.
This mower is the nicest to mow with that I have ever encountered in over 50 years of mowing. At 66, I'm a bit broken down in the back and can't pull start a gas mower or push a mower around the yard This self propelled mower solves both those problems it is a dream to mow with. The only weakness is battery life, which is always the case with any battery powered tool. I already had 4 batteries from green works products and this mower came with a 5 amp hour battery. So with all 5 batteries I can mow a full acre of grass with power left over It has plenty of power for ordinary mowing. Probably not enough for foot long wet grass but plenty for normal mowing. Whisper quiet, no gas, no exhaust, I absolutely love it and highly recommend to anyone. It's also a snap to assemble, no tools needed, just attach the handle and charge the battery and you're ready to go. The included 5 amp hour battery lasts me 20 to 30 minutes. With my 4 spare batteries I could mow continuously for 2 hours or so if I had that much stamina (which I don't). Great, great mower.

Great lawn mower; Disappointing battery
I have been using this lawn mower for about 10 months now. First things first: This is a great lawn mower. Quiet, powerful, sturdy. Switching from a gas mower, the convenience of cordless lawn mower is amazing. I can never go back to gas mowers now.The battery sucks ! The first time I used the lawn mower, it lasted for 50 minutes. Now, it barely lasts for 22 minutes for the same kind of operation. The reduction in battery life has been gradual making me think that it is going to further reduce soon to the point of being useless. That is really sad.

Best Mower!
I bought this because it is self-propelled and battery powered. My yard has lots of angles and turns. I have used this new one now several times and being self-propelled has shorted my cutting time from 1 hour to 20 minutes. And the best part is I am not exhausted when the mowing chore is finished. I am older and still enjoy doing my own yard work. This uses no gasoline, has a push-bottom start, does a beautiful job on my lawn, and the battery re-charge takes about 45 minutes. The battery storage is in the top lid of the mower- very convenient and safe. Great product!

Battery Doesn't Last Long Enough and It stopped working after one year.
I mowed only about half of my back yard before the battery gave out. The red light came on -- the manual says that means it's hot and you have to let it set for 30 minutes before you charge it. Then it takes 90 minutes to charge. At this rate I'll never get my yard mowed. It doesn't way 20 some pounds; it weighs 75 pounds. It was easy to get set up and use. The mowing seems fine. That 20 minute battery function is going to be a problem though. Later: Battery lasts only 20 minutes. Then you have to wait for 30 minutes for it to cool off and then 2 hours to recharge. It takes me 4 charges to do my backyard alone -- 12 hours to do a 40 minute job. Another 10 hours to do the front. I just don't think this is going to work for me at all. Huge disappointment. I wonder if I can return it. I can't deal with this all summer. It's a pain. ONE YEAR LATER: I bought this April 2024. Used it until October. Just now went out to use it and it won't start. Nothing. Battery is charged. I can't buy a new lawnmower every year.

Impressive Lawn Mower. Impressive Value
Not sure I agree with some of the negative comments. Received my mower in two days from Amazon. Box was banged up, but mower is in great shape. The mower is easy to assemble if you have any mechanical inclination. Starting the mowere threw me a curve, since you need to depress a safety button (and release it) while holding the throttle lever.Speaking of power, power is adequate for thin and medium grass. I would not call the mower under powered. Reminds me of the old Honda gas mowers when they first came out, sleek and compact.I was so impressed with the mower I mowed the lawn in the dark this evening. With the self propelled function, yes it goes thru the battery faster, but heres the key: IT MOWES FASTER THAN A GAS POWERED MOWER twice its size. This self propelled mower has a throttle lever for slow or fast speed. It can barrel up a hill in a way larger gas power mowers, even with an SP function, could not. This mower knocked out the back lawn in twenty minutes. It would have taken a 6 hp gas mower 45 minutes.Who cares if the battery life is twenty minutes when you are covering twice as much ground in the same itme.
