We travel quite a but and use Air BNB when possible so it feels more like home. We have heard horror stories on the news about hidden cameras being found in homes that were rented so we wanted to be cautious and make sure we were personally safe when away from home. I tested it out at my own home and it did what it was supposed to do and detected the hidden camera. I will be packing this with us when we travel from now on.

This product is good quality and works. It only comes with basic instructions. Took me awhile to figure out how to use it. All in all I am a satisfied customer.

As is typical of China made products, the directions are mostly useless. The directions are so poorly worded that they become unclear. It seems to beep at everything...except actual cameras. It seems to be doing something but I'm not sure what. I tried to look on this Amazon page for info and there is more here than was in the box but still don't really make sense. Found a couple videos on youtube about it. It seems that it's not great for finding cameras because you gotta look through the little hole and find a tiny red light on a camera. Kinda bummed with this actually. It does however work great with the magnetic detection...sadly I don't have a lot of use for that.

When you turn it on, it beeps and vibrates with the highest sound and lights flashing. The directions are useless. I expected to charge it , turn it on and it work as described. I am really disappointed.

I got this spy detector for my husband. He absolutely loves it. His first journey thru the house after receiving this scanner was the funniest time he has had in a while. He’s such a spy junkie. He tested it out on our wi-fi cameras and it found everyone of them with a signal meter and a beeping sound. He then took it near the car and looked for a magnetic gps tracking device, luckily he found nothing. Lol! His next project he says is to check the microwave for radiation leaks. He wanted me to also let you know that Alexia is really listening and Google is not. Alexias signal was picked up every time while Google assistant provided no reaction to the detector. Now he can’t wait to spend the night in a hotel to check for bugs. He is like a little kid with a new toy.

I was very skeptical about this working but to my surprise it did. I don't want to say why we were trying to detect the camera but it did detect the camera. I can only say it worked for the camera I had and I can't comment on others. Well worth the money.

All it can do but need to look up how to use it correctly

I tested the GPS function and it didn't react to anything. Magnets or anything. The other sensor seems to go off on everything. It's just a cheap gimmick to be used as a talking point among friends. Not really any other use to it.
