Games WorkshopTape Measure

It is an auto lock tape measure, I like that functionality for gaming.I feel a little over priced, works well.Wish there were more colors available.

This is "just a tape measure" but it was made for wargaming in the sense that its not built out of metal or overly bulky for a construction site. It is light but not "cheap" The trigger also works opposite to a normal tap measure where it the tape comes out easily but won't retract until you hit the button which sounds minor but is really comfortable. The tape itself isn't super heavy, again its not for construction site, which makes it easy to manipulate. Its only I think 10 feet long which is plenty, it feels comfortable in the hand and is comfortable to use. The tape has inches on one edge and centimeters on the other.Yes its just a tape measure you can buy at the store but it strikes a much better balance between bulk and comfort for use in wargaming as opposed to construction.

I was hoping this would be more of a mini tape measure. Its smaller than a standard size, but a tad large for table top gaming in my opinion. I have a 3ft x 1/4" tape that seems more suitable. That being said, it looks well made and has a firm holding release button.

I had one of these for years and years and years and after heavy use it finally broke. I ordered a new one and it arrived in great condition and works flawlessly. I forgot how well it holds. The button works opposite of a normal tape measure, you pull the measure out and press the button to reel it back in. I personally love that design for tabletop gaming.

I threw away the $45 fancy HomeDepot one because this is JUST BETTER in every way. Its not pricey and it lasts for a long time. The stop feature on it is flawless, not to mention it stays rigid when extended and does not flop over.

I have purchased two of these. One of the two developed an issue with the tape being unwilling to retract. Started on only the second use. The other one has been problem free.

A must have for tabletop gaming in both: Warhammer fantasy, and Warhammer 40,000.

My son wanted a tape measure to replace his toy one that broke. I love the size of this, it's a real, heavy duty tape measure but it's perfect for his 5 year old hands. And it automatically stays put and must be retracted, which is great for him! And, I admit, it's nice to have around for when mom and dad need it too. :)

Nice looking case with the symbol on. Its just a normal tape measure in a fancy case. But I like that it holds as soon as you pull it out, for ease of measuring game distance.

It's just a tape measure, but it has automatic hold and one touch retrieve.The Imperial Logo on the side is a nice touch to a basic tool of the game.The increments on the tape are easy to read and durable.It doesn't do more than any other cheap tape measure really, but it's a nice addition to your collection of gaming gear.I bought one out of curiosity, it's eye catching and very usable.

This is not suitable for a 3 year old false advertising you might as well buy one from a pound shop i put it in the bin

It covered its uses nicely and was also cheap compared to the ones sold in Games Workshop. I would recommend.
