Waterway Plastics Pump Union, WW, 2" fbt x 2" s

Saved me $40+ for a discharge union on a Black and Decker, variable speed, 3 hp pool pump! The union fit perfectly and cost me less than $10 where Black and Deckerʻs union was $50+. I was thrilled that the union worked well with my new B&D 3hp pump!

Perfect fit

Someone posted it fit there B&D pump so I took a chance cause, as they posted I did not want to pay 50 through B&D. It fits using the male pentair adaptor but the male threads / ID is considerably smaller than a 1 1/2" MIP to pvc internal diameter. Just posting beware, does not fit my B&D pump.

O-ring missing from unit. Other than that, great.

This replaced my Black & Decker 2HP Variable Speed Pump 2" intake union. The B&D 2" union kit is $65 with shipping so this was a huge savings and came next day instead of 5-8 biz days. Installation to my 2" suction line plumbing was complete myself and I have no issues. It's a perfect fit.

Note that this does not work on a Harris above ground pump model.

Did not fit my pentair pool heater. Looked like it was going to fit perfectly but the threads don't match. Also, gasket is too large and will easily fall out if you're not careful

So, this is indeed a pump union and fits my T15 salt cell. Trouble is that the o-ring supplied is just slightly too large for the groove it's suppose to fit into which means it does not stay put across the entire circumference and you have to be extra diligent when screwing the coupling in place. This was true on both parts I ordered.
