This is an excellent device, and one of the best of its kind at this price point and is reasonably comfortable. It does not hurt under the arms for the time you are supposed to wear it which is half an hour here or one hour there. It is also fine to wear under clothes but I would suggest on top of a T shirt. It won’t show much unless you wear tight fitting clothes on top, so far, no one noticed when I have had it on. While the device itself won’t exactly ‘fix’ your posture overnight, nor take away immediately any chronic pains you may get due to years of bad posture, wearing it at home or on a walk for an hour or so a day will definitely work to re-train your back and neck to correct your posture, and over time you should start to feel a little better with pains associated with bad posture getting far less bothersome. Separately, I have found that I do stand up much straighter now to the point that people who know me have mentioned (on quite a few occasions) that I look well, or mentioned that it looked like I have grown taller etc. The great part these comments were made to me at times I did not actually wear this brace, so this confirms to me that it has helped reshape me unconsciously within a month. I now only wear it once a week for an hour or so when I feel I may be forgetting my new corrected posture and and hour with it on quickly reshapes me up naturally for a while. I did find the sizing a little small. I’m 38 chest for suit jacket size, but the medium while fine around the shoulders was too small around the belly, so I sent it back (amazon is great like that for sizing) and ordered the large and that fitted me much better. However, if you are quite fat (Im not bothering being politically correct here, I just want to give an honest review of the product to help others), be aware you may feel a little constricted around the belly, so please get a size up. This is a very nice device to stop slouching and supporting shoulders/middle back areas. Re: Size..Although I am only a 30-31" waist size I am about 6ft tall so I chose to go for the Large size in order to get the body length. I am glad I did not go for the XL size as this device is JUST tight enough.The only downside is that, if you are actively moving about while wearing this the shoulder straps slip and become loose. It is easy enough to retension them but requires frequent attention!All in all quite a good device and helped a lot but be careful with the size guides when purchasing

After only 5 days of use I have a significant reduction in the lower back pain I have suffered with for years. I have mainly worn this for alternate 1hr periods whilst working at a computer and have felt the benefit and the conscious reminder to straighten my posture. The main issue I’ve found is that it only really provides support whilst in a static position, it rides up the back too much whilst moving from standing to sitting & vice versa or preforming menial tasks such as loading the washing machine, causing me to tighten the straps and pull the waist band back down which has unfortunately led to the stitching around the strap anchors to tear.

Best one on the market.Bought 3 which were all useless. This one is the best. Stronger Velcro and can be altered by the straps to fit. Keeps the back straight and is comfortable to wear

It mentions nothing about the size. I am 6 foot 2 with a bit of a belly and it does not come close to fitting. waster of money.

Ok, so this is a little hard to explain!I’m 65, an obese diabetic for most of my life who swapped to a keto diet a year ago. Despite loosing 4 stone, my back and neck gets worse as time goes on. I’m a developer who spends far too much time stooped over a MacBook or my iPad, old eyes compound the issue by making me lean forward with a bent neck 12 hours a day. I’ve had a few of these “posture correctors” mostly the slim figure of 8 style things that just pull your shoulders back. None of them do much more than annoy you or get in your way. But, reading about these devices made me think that a better quality one might do more and boy is that true!This particular one is more like a harness than the other flimsy things I’ve tried! It’s instantly recognisable as well made, has almost infinitely adjustable tension and position, pulls your shoulders back and down like it needs to but adds stability with a boned back and strap. I have a full on corset I wear if my disk slips and this gives a similar support higher up your back. All in all, very comfortable and easy to adjust to the level of correction you feel you need. But there’s more!Pull the back down, tighten the (comfortably wide) stomach belt, cinch the shoulder straps and boy has it got some pull! I got the same ‘reset’ effect on my upper back and shoulders wearing this for just 20 minutes as I normally get from an uncomfortable 2 hours lying on a hard floor! Your mileage may vary but for me it would be hard to improve on! Time will tell, so I’ll start with half an hour a day (you could probably wear it all day with a more relaxed adjustment) and work up, but I already feel it’s going to do some good.Buy a size larger than you think you’ll need, especially if you have a stomach, it’s Velcro so it will adjust, and take the ‘invisible under clothes’ with a pinch of salt. Wear a t-shirt under it (especially if you are hairy) This is more function than form!

Once you have it sized correctly it's fairly comfortable to wear. Annoyingly it does ride up when bending.
