The texturing on these grips provides a very agressive grip, firmly planting the pistol in your hands. They are made from phenolic grade G10. G10 is only 1/2 the weight of aluminum but nearly as strong with a grippier texture and less likely to show scratches because the color is dyed into the material, not painted on - this is the best material available for gun grips and knife handles. Fit and finish is our focus. Before starting LOK Grips, Jayson Dekmar (the proprietor/owner of LOK Grips) was a CNC machinist and production manager in the Aerospace industry. LOK Grips are made using the same manufacturing and quality procedures as parts made for US Military defense equipment and commercial airplanes.

Colt Defender Upgrade
Wanted to change the Houge rubber grips that came with my Colt Defender (didn't like the feel of the Houge, especially the protruding finger slots) and wanted a lower profile for IWB conceal carry. I chose the LOK grips because of the material, texture, pattern design, wide selection of color options, and taper cut at the mag release. The LOK grips feel good and looks great! LOK is sleeker than the Houge rubber. More texture on the LOK grip, don't feel any slippage when presenting to target. Leaner so that IWB conceal carry is better than the Houge. The LOK material appears very durable. Install took a few minutes, no compatibility issues. Very satisfied with LOK customer service and product. LOK had no problem changing the initial order of Orange color to OD......Update 8/4/15: Purchased thinner compact Classics style for my Springfield Range Officer Compact .45 acp. which work even better of IWB conceal carry.

Great Seller, Great Grips.
I'm that guy that changes grips as often as I change underwear. these are too thick, these don't have enough grip, these cracked, these look horrible... then I saw the grips my girlfriend had on her Beretta and I fell in love. The texture and slim profile are just perfect, aggressive enough to get a grip on, but not so much that its cutting you. Love these grips and everything about them. I've since started ordering more for my other pistols. the only hit I have, and it wasn't with this particular set, just something to be aware of, sometimes the ambi-safety cut isn't deep enough, so you may have to cut a little material out for proper function. obviously not a big enough deal to remove a star.Seller was prompt with shipping and the grip panels fit exactly as they should.

Fast shipping and extreme grip
The grip is great and it keeps the 1911 pistol frame slim. Which is great for IWB carry. I wish the green was a little darker. But this was in my mailbox in 2 days. I'm overall pleased. And love that the price was cheaper then others but same product in my opinion.

Great grips. They aren't quite as sharp as VZ grips and they might be slightly smaller than VZ grips. The fit the 1911 perfectly. I'm very happy with them and would recommend them over rubber grips, and I like rubber grips.
