My dryer stopped heating and was not dryer the clothes, so I googled what the issue might be. After watching a youtube video, I figured it might be the heating element. I followed the guys instructions and took the dryer apart and tested the heating element with a volt meter and as suspected it wasnt conducting any electricity. I uninstalled it and the spring was broken. The dryer was over 10 years old already so it was bound to happen at one point or another. I ordered the replacement from amazon and it came the next day. Looked exactly like the original except for being shinier and newer. lol. It was easy to reinstall and fit in perfectly.Now the dryer works again. Easy fix and didnt have to call the expensive repairman.

I’ve had this installed for about a month now, so I feel like it has proven it’s longevity so far! Easy to install if you know where the attachments go. We took a video and a photo of the old one, so we could use that for reference. Very happy with this purchase and it saved us hundreds of dollars to get repaired by a tech. It’s exactly as pictured and we installed it on our 10yr old Samsung dryer, as the old one burnt out & It actually seems to be better quality than the original! Hope this helps!

If you'er samsung dryer is not working then this parts will work again but if you know how to fix yourself dryer then this parts works. am not sure if it work on the new models

I've purchased these dryer heating elements before, - it's been about 9 years since the last set. I have a Samsung dryer. It functions well, but the element they use is cheap and doesn't last. Purchased through Amazon for $17.34 saves me a $275 appliance repairman bill. The hardest part is just getting the dryer "box" open, once that is done - the element simply plugs in easy peasy.
