Great vibrant blue. Can’t go wrong with Pelican.
I got the blue, and it is not a baby blue, it is a nice vibrant blue.I got this to make a travel humidor and so far it’s working great. The pluck and pick was super easy to use and customize the inside. The humidor was able to get to humidity (seasoned) within 24 hours, which is quicker than I expected, using bodeva packs.Overall this exceeded my expectations. I now have a rock solid, waterproof, humidor that carries 12-15 cigars, a punch, straight cutter, v cutter and a lighter.

Great little case, so many applications
Great case, durable with customizable insert makes this a great case for any application within the boundaries of size. I got this for my RIF6 Cube projector and the cables and accessories that come with it. Fits great and protects my projector really well. I recommended this to my brother for his go pro, the waterproof feature makes it great for outdoor activities.

What can be said... it is a Pelican Case
What can be said, It is after all a Pelican case. This is made just like every other Pelican case that I own (more than 10 of them in different sizes) and this one is a great size for storing and transporting my GoPro cameras and filters. I also use this size to store 4 to 6 point and shoot cameras that I use when I travel to areas that are known for being wet and humid. The box is a pluck out foam type which is pre-scored to make it easy to form just what you need and keep the items secured and protected. There is a pressure valve on the front and a good rubber seal around the lid so it never leaks. It floats very well if it is secure and happens to fall off a boat.Great product with so many uses.

Perfect for my binoculars
This is a great box. Easy to lock down. Totally waterproof even when submerged...so I can keep my binoculars in my exposed skiff without worrying about them being ruined by saltwater. The pluckable foam made it easy to get a custom fit.

Perfect For Smaller Carry Guns
Built like a tank, the Pelican 1150 is the perfect flight case for small carry guns, especially when used with the Master Lock 140T (use two locks or the airline or TSA will ruin your day). That particular lock fits the case's lock hasps so well that, when locked, the case cannot be opened at all even when the case's clasps are opened. It's perfect for my S&W 637 (pictured) and my Sig P238, P938, and Glock 43. It will be ideal for any similarly-sized carry guns. The Pick and Pluck foam is ingenious. Use your fingers to remove a big chunk, using the gun as a template. Then, you'll need to cut the removed chunk/s of foam in half and put them back in; otherwise the weapon and ammo box will sit too deep and won't be optimally secure. That process is a cinch using any pair of scissors. I chose the Pelican 1150 over the 1170 or 1200 so as maximize space in my luggage. You'll need the 1170 if you want to transport a larger service sized handgun. I'm glad I went with the blue over black. And yes the ammo is Gold Dot 135 +P Short Barrel.

Excellent case for flying with a handgun.
I was flying for the very first time with a firearm and picked up a cheap plastic case at the local sports store to carry my handgun in. I had read the airline rules for flying with a firearm and didn't think anything of putting it in the cheap case. At the airport the TSA agent pulled me aside, saying that I couldn't use the case. Turns out that the cheap case only had one hole for a lock and even with it locked the other corner could be pried up, permitting easy access to the firearm. Evidently they are concerned that baggage handlers and whoever might steal it. I didn't bother mentioning to the Agent that if someone were going to take the time to bend/open the case to get at the gun they could just as well walk away with the whole case, but evidently the TSA isn't concerned with that. So, for my next flight I bought this Pelican 1150. It fits my full-size M&P 9mm perfectly as well as the magazine. I purchased 2 combination locks and a bicycle cable lock too. The 1150 has a hole for a lock at each front corner, so now when I lock it there is no way that someone can twist the case and get to the firearm. With the cable lock ( I have all 3 locks set to the same combination) I run it through the handle of the Pelican 1150 and around the frame of the suitcase that I'm carrying it in. I use the old cheap case for holding my knife, ammunition and extra magazines and lock it up with the cable lock also.I have now had more than one TSA agent comment on how well the firearm is protected in this manner and I can fly without worrying about it disappearing before I pick it up in baggage claim.Pelican 1150 Case with Foam for Camera - Blue

Good solid case.
Bought to keep my field equipment in. Works great, keeps it all protected/safe and dry. No issues. Foam removes in blocks making it easy to shape around equipment. Great case, price, and deal.

Best Camera Case for being on the go.
I have a 400$ camera that I wanted to take hunting and out on the boats. I can take this along and not worry about bumps and spash. I can also throw it in my soft luggage and not worry about the luggage apes. It is large enought to carry my carger and some extra batteries and SD cards. Just take out some of the foan in the area needing to be filled. The color makes it easy to find in a hurray when someone catches a fish or falls overboard :)
