Great Breakers
Purchased a couple of used breakers, a good and a very good condition. They both worked great. Updating the panels in a retired Air Force Minuteman III Launch Control Facility so need about 100 of these. Shipping was fast and fair. Packaging was A+. Will definitely be buying the rest of the breakers and panels for Riverside Breakers. Haven't had any problems so don't know what their customer service is like and looking good so far.

Must install properly.
They work great if you wire them correctly. I on the other hand did not. Both circuit load wires (hot and neutral) must go to breaker then reinstall supplied white wire back to bar in place of the original white wire.

Untested as yet
Should be OK; it's Square D after all, even though it's Homeline and not plug in neutral. Haven't installed yet.

Provides Important Protection
Square D's CAFCI (combination arc fault circuit interrupter) circuit breakers provide the protection against arcing and fire required in most residential living space in new construction, expansion and renovation. Although not required to be retrofitted in existing construction I chose to replace the existing circuit breakers for my bedroom with these. Arc fault breakers will shut off the circuit if arcing is detected as it presents a heat and fire risk. Arcing can be caused by loose connections hidden inside a junction box or wall, defective switches, receptacles or other devices, loose or worn plugs, worn appliance cords, and damaged building wiring.I purchased three of these. The first was defective out of the box and tripped upon installation, even without a hot or neutral "load" wire connected to it. The other two are fine and the defective one has been returned and a replacement for it is arriving tomorrow. One star is deducted for the defective breaker out of the box; otherwise, this would be a five star product. When installing this the coiled white wire is to be run to your panel's neutral block. The circuit's own neutral wire, at least in a retrofit, is already connected to the neutral block. You need to identify this neutral wire, remove it from the block and connect it to the silver load screw on the circuit breaker. The circuit's own hot wire is connected to the gold load screw on the circuit breaker in the customary manner. This installation procedure is identical to that of a GFCI circuit breaker. If you don't follow these instructions the CAFCI circuit breaker will not work.

Convenient way to add GFCI to existing wiring
I was going to install a GFCI outlet on my house wiring but decided to use this breaker instead. It's easier to wire up and install this breaker.
