UTG Elite Tactical Leg Holster (Left Handed)

I purchased this product (along with it's counterpart, the right tactical leg holster) as part of my wife's Halloween costume. I'm impressed, I'd have to say. These are super cheap in price, but not quality. Very solid construction, and also very adjustable. My wife was able to easily adjust both holsters to fit her, and (just for kicks) I tried them out, too. I'm 6'1, my arms are a bit longer than average, and my legs are almost twice as thick as hers (she's an average sized 5'4 woman). They look pretty awesome, and because of the quality of their construction, I would trust them for real guns, and airsoft (which is what she'll be using them for).I also want to say (& yes, I know this isn't the seller feedback spot) that amazon got these to us super fast (& FREE shipping!). 4 days from the time I placed the order until I was unpackaging them, & that was after ordering it late on a friday night.

After a few adjustments this fits very snug and well made. Double stitching in stress points as well. Holds my full size CZ-75 SP01l effortlessly. Of course its not like a SERPA/Blackhawk but, on a budget this works well for me. I run/shoot with a right drop-down Serpa on my right thigh and this UTG on my left thigh. With 2 different full size weapons and dramatically 2 different retention holders snugged onto my thighs, it works out great for me. The UTG has a lot of room for MODs and fitting most large framed hand guns is a definite plus.

Would recommend seller to include more accurate measurements of product, as the 9" described applies to the actual holster length without belt strap included. Actual overall product lenth is approx 15 inches. Would also recommend seller to include min-max circumfrance measurements for thigh straps so buyers can make a better decision on purchasing.As another reviewer has said, the strap attaching the holster to your belt is long. Keep in mind that this strap does NOT get any shorter than 6 inches, so for many people this will leave the gun hanging very low above your knee or even partially over the knee. I am 5'9" and also had this problem. However, this product was not purchased with function in mind. I purchased it as a costume accessory. So to fix this problem I wore a 2nd belt above my pants and attached the holsters to THAT, and then my shirt covered over this strange customization. This fix worked just fine for me. If you do not have the ability to apply this same fix, or do not intend on wearing very high waisted pants with these holsters, I would not recommend the purchase. Takes a little bit of tricky working to figure out how to make the thigh straps as big as needed (on myself I required 21" and 19"), but it will expand large enough to fit most people. Otherwise, I very much liked this holster. Very well made and durable, and surprisingly comfortable. I did not feel it was 'loose' at all.Overall I would highly recommend this product to anyone in need of holsters for costume use. However, if you are in need of holsters for real guns (and thus function & perfect fit is essential) I would recommend to pass on.

Let's start this out by saying that a.) This was for a cosplay, not actual tactical use and b.) I'm pretty small (5'3").I ordered this and the right handed one for a Jake English cosplay (a character from a webcomic who uses dual pistols) and was a little wary about how adjustable they'd be considering that I'm short for the average woman, not to mention compared to guys.Happily, these adjust to as far as you need them to go without a problem.However, there's a small plastic piece on the leg straps that holds down the excess strap when adjusting it smaller, and it can make it difficult to actually adjust the length of the straps. I recommend un-threading the strap from half of the little piece, adjusting the length, and then re-threading on the plastic thing to keep down extra strappage. It doesn't affect the length at all, so the extra 7.5-ish inches on the upper thigh strap that I pulled out could be completely flattened out. The top strap that attaches to the belt can also be adjusted.Note to cosplayers: You absolutely must buy a belt for it to attach to. I got the "Columbia Men's 38mm Cotton Washed Webbing,Black,42" since the fabric matches well and can be cut down fairly easily if you're willing to spend the money and need a belt.It's also fairly comfortable, though some of the tension in the clips is pretty high, so I pinched myself a few times. The nylon is fairly comfortable, and so far hasn't chafed at all, though I haven't worn it to a con yet, so I don't know about extended use. I don't think, with adequately moisturized legs or skin-colored tights, that it would be a problem.

Bought this mainly as part of a tactical Halloween costume, but I found that it fit my Glock 19, so I kept it. I also purchased this holster in conjunction with the RIGHT handed tactical holster from the same company. This holster has a good look and feel to it. Decent size and can fit well with vaious makes and models of 9 mm, 40, or 45 caliber semi auto hand guns. Comprised of Nylon, reinforced plastic belt and leg connectors. The interior of the holster does NOT have a fitted/reinforced plastic frame, however, this leaves the holster able to stretch and fit a variety of handguns. Also has a spare magazine pouch attached.Con: Not the sturdiest of holsters. It would be nice if there were an instuctional diagram with pictures to demonstrate how to connect and utilize the holster properly.Overall: I recommend this holster
