MicTuning MH001 Rocker Switch Holder Panel Housing Kit (Fireproof ABS Plastic Black), 1 Pack

The lighted switch is perfect for late night use. Not so bright it's distracting.

Ordered two of these single switch holders. The order was split up and delivered several days apart. What I received was one correct item and what appears to be part of a three or four piece holder. The second one is made to be snapped onto another holder, so cannot be installed by itself. The holders appeared to be something that might help protect the back of a switch mounted where mud, water, and rocks might be thrown against the back side. Since one of them was not usable by itself I decided it would be better to just cut holes the right size for the switches. A bigger hole might weaken the panel too much. If you want to mount three of four switches together, maybe it's better to cut one big hole and use a three or four gang holder. That might be easier than trying to precisely cut separate holes for several adjacent switches. For a single switch, it seemed best to cut a smaller hole to fit the switch. I use a heated box cutter blade to cut holes for switches. Carefully mark hole. Cut small, then shave hole precisely to the lines and test the switch for proper fit.

It might be good but it was too short for the Nilight rocker switch. Maybe it works for other rocker switches. Didn't have time to install it until after return window passed so it's wasted money.

I bought the MicTuning Rocker switch to go with it, and the switch doesn't fit it! Wasted money on both!

Fit right in my OEM slot!

I order this along with a MicTuning rocker switch. At first I didn't think the switch would fit in the holder. I saw some reviews that said it was necessary to grind out the holder to accommodate the switch. I emailed customer support at MicTuning and was told that it was not necessary to modify the holder, but to "please press the switch into the holder vigorously and that's OK. Please have a try." It worked. I put the switch in the headlamp housing on my Polaris Sportsman and the holder gives it a much more factory installation appearance.

Perfect fit for the rocker switch. Had trouble finding an aftermarket rocker switch to control LED light bar in a 2006 Jeep TJ. Bought the rocker switch, but quickly saw it would need a housing to give it a finished look. Mounted it just to the right of several factory rockers on a flat spot in the lower trim panel. Made several small cuts, checking the fit each time, because if you cut away too much, there is no going back. Tight fit, but looks great.

I purchased this item along with my wiring harness and switch. It's made of fireproof material and is pretty stout. But you don't need it! The switch I used was designed with flanges that grab on to the back of whatever you're mounting your switch to. I'm giving it five stars because it is constructed nicely, and seems like it would work very well. Also, I tired returning it, but the return fee was the same price as the item. I'll just toss it in the junk drawer...maybe i'll use it for something else some day.

This almost fit perfectly in where my stock audio plug in for the mk7 golf, I had to trim the Vw trim piece a hair to make it fit, but perfectly it fits, switch slide right in. Bought two just in case, only needed the one, bought to help get my car winter mode ready, light bar installation

Very easy to install, snapped together with ease. Did not like that when I pushed on either the power button or a volume button that all the buttons got pushed due to the way the case was designed. Not suitable because of this reason.
