This product has truly been a blessing. I have recently developed lower back pain, mostly from sleeping. I now require support to avoid waking up with pain. However, when I use this lumbar support pillow for both sleeping on my back or sides, I can avoid most of this pain. The design of this pillow is great - it has a peak in the middle and is long enough to accommodate rolling to either side.

I have been suffering from severe lower back pain for months. I thought it was my very old mattress and mattress topper so I bought a new mattress. My pain continued. I am a side sleeper and sometime back sleeper so I tried putting a pillow between my legs when I was on my side. It did provide some relief and then it did not. While I love sleeping on my back, I absolutely cannot without causing pain. In fact, shifting side to side during the night wakes me up and I have to literally sit up carefully so as not to cause myself pain as I make the shift. So, when I came across this lumbar pillow I thought I had nothing to lose. It arrived yesterday and I slept with it last night for the first time. (Though I hesitate to write a review after only one night, I am feeling optimistic!) I placed it under my back so that I could be on my back or rotate onto my side (as pictured in the product description). It was comfortable right away but the true test was how I fared throughout the night. I briefly awoke in the middle of the night and when I did, I realized I was on my back...and I was pain-free. I went back to sleep and awoke on my side, still pain-free. Shifting side to side during the night not wake me up at all. The pillow did feel a little firm when I unwrapped it but it turned out just right for support when on my back or on my side and I can shift painlessly throughout the night. Hopefully tonight will be as comfortable. The price was good and it is completely returnable so why not give it a try? You have nothing to lose except the pain!

I have a very worn-out bed and can't quite afford a replacement. There's a hole where I sleep, and some nights, I'd fall in and wake up with a grueling backache. Sleeping on a regular pillow just doesn't cut it. So, I looked into lumbar pillows and picked this one up. It was relatively affordable, and had great dimensions for sleeping on. Any thicker, it probably wouldn't have been comfortable to sleep on. As it is, I barely even feel when this pillow is under me... but I definitely feel the difference! It's stable and carries my back quite nicely. Not only do I no longer wake up in a hole, but I've been waking up noticeably more refreshed. Now, you do get what you pay for with this pillow. It's not so firm as to offer great support, not so soft as to be uniquely comfortable. I haven't really noticed any long-term improvement to my physical wellbeing or restfulness either. All in all, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOR PEOPLE WHO SERIOUSLY NEED A LUMBAR PILLOW! You may consider going premium on a flatter one if you just need a good sleep, thicker if you need it through the day. Otherwise, I highly recommend this to the average consumer for more stable and comfortable sleep... especially if you're a fellow side-sleeper. We'll see how it holds up long-term, but it should come in handy when I eventually have to change out beds.

Comfortable foam density but too high. I feel the edges on my ribs or under my back. Takes getting used to. One-half the thickness would be ideal for me as I am very slim and don't weigh enough to press down on the foam.

I am pregnant and, naturally, was not sleeping well. Side sleeping had been causing serious pain since my waist wasn't supported. This is exactly what I needed. It's the perfect amount of support without being too bulky. It is wide enough so that if I roll to my other side while sleeping, I am still on the pillow. It's also the perfect height to support my stomach. I am so happy I didn't decide to buy a big pregnancy pillow that wouldn't have solved the waist support issue anyway. I am using just this and a standard pillow for my head and have all the support I need. The cover provides enough friction with my cotton sheets so that the pillow doesn't shift at all. My sleep has improved so much. I can feel the difference and my sleep tracker confirms it. I also read some reviews that say this doesn't have a washable cover. It definitely does have one so don't let that dissuade you (that seam on the undersize of the pillow is the zipper).

Not only got rid of back pain but whole body feels awesome.

Good love it it's exactly worth it comfortable

It’s a bit expensive however it’s making me more comfortable at night allowing a better sleep. I’m a side sleeper with a dodgy hip.
