Clay in MotionHoney Pot (Desert Sand)

Very happy with this purchase! The pot is sturdy, the color is beautiful, and it holds a lot of honey (over 2 cups). After reading other reviews I was concerned about what color I would get so I went on the Clay in Motion website and checked out all the colors they offered. After that I contacted the seller on Amazon requesting that I receive a pot in Ocean Tide (the color pictured in the product photo) and gave them 2 other color choices that I would like if they didn't have that color in stock. The seller was very helpful and I was sent the color I wanted.

This jar is beautiful! It was quite a bit larger than I had expected, but I'm very very happy with it. The colors are vibrant. I like how it comes with the honey dipper. This is so easy to clean. I would definitely purchase another one as a gift. Great quality on the craftsmanship! It's just a beautiful piece.

Am very familiar with the quality and workmanship of the Clay in Motion business. Located in Milton-Freewater, Oregon. I have two of their beautiful, well-made "handwarmer" mugs (each hold 14 ozs.) and have bought two others for gifts. The one that other reviewers that has the "purple" top is called: Mossy Creek. Apparently, the seller on here bought a bunch of these long ago (mine arrived, in the box, VERY dusty) and there was no choice on color. It was take what we send you. Still, even with the $30.00 price, I'm not returning it because I save $$ on the free shipping. It's very large and holds about 3 cups of honey. The wooden honey dipper is also very large. I leave it in the jar for "looks" but rarely use that one because it holds 'way more than my (self-rationed) one teaspoon of honey. To those who complain that the honey comes off the dipper much too slowly to suit their "wants 'n needs", you need to learn how to use the dipper. It works best when you roll the honey onto your preferred item. I use my plastic, smaller honey dipper for herbal tea. The hot water melts the honey off perfectly. Use it to stir the tea or coffee, remove and wash it off.

We ordered the "Mossy Creek" design as pictured here, but the pot we received was definitely the "Ocean Tide" pattern instead (and ironically selling for much more on Amazon!). The replacement we requested had the same issue. Both were labelled incorrectly on the box, so I'm guessing the error was with the manufacturer and not the seller.I didn't want to keep playing the return game so decided to keep the one they sent.So that note aside, for anyone who very specifically wants the Mossy Creek look, it's a great, good sized bowl for honey.

Although my honey pot didn't look like the one in the pictures, it is beautifully made. I was hoping for one like what is shown as those colors are more "me". The one I got has a more "beachy" look to it with blues and browns. The descriptions didn't say there were more color options. That really should be addressed in the listing. The quality of the pot is great and it is wonderfully made. It's much bigger than expected and holds a ton of honey!

Love this honey pot. It’s larger than most I’ve looked at & the glaze is ‘earthy’. It arrived with a broken lid. The seller responded immediately (faster than expected) & it appears than the replacement was sen out the same day. Excellent purchase. Will but from this seller again if the need arises.

This is a lovely substantial piece of crockery for honey. Holds at least 16 ounces of honey, possibly a bit more. That plus the wooden honey drizzler makes putting honey in tea or on cereal easy. I wanted something more decorative than most honey crocks out there.

I recieved this for Christmas from my Husband. It is stunning! Its large and holds quite a bit of honey. There are not enough words to sum up this honey pot so I'll leave some pictures!! The honey was NOT included by the way. I also recieved that as a gift from him but it was NOT included with this purchase...
