PS3
Just an FYI - Just a little advise.Product is ok well packed when delivered but the PS3 could of been just a little bit more cleaner. Was a little dirty when opened at least products like consoles should be at least wiped down with like armor all wipes to make them look cleaner and shinier. Also the console sent to me should of been the one in the picture on amazon and not the picture that is there now showing a controller and a box with a clean looking ps3 console.

PS3 software is clunky; the PSN store is annoying to navigate; disc-based gaming is fine.
I'm 15 years late to this party, having gotten my start with the PS4 (and now PS5) and the old box is a bit frustrating. Built-in HDCP feels invasive which means I can't use a switch to get video to my monitor, and also means capturing video is cumbersome (Need to get a video splitter that will strip the signal). After using a dualshock and dualsense controller, I'm further convinced that the sixaxis was an unwieldy piece of junk (plus the sticks are *way* too tall), though maybe it's because the one I have is also 15 years old.720p output is fine. The 12gigs of storage is slow (I expect to get an 500gb ssd for it, though) and the absence of a HD sled feels punishing.I'm not sure if my unit needs cleaning, but it starts to run hot while playing "simple" games like Beyond Good & Evil, and I shudder to think how it will handle MGS IV or Red Dead Redemption 1.I wish it could play PS2 games, but I know this model can't do it. Oh well. Maybe the PS6 will be the one.
