LibertySafe - Handgun Vaults A/C Adapter HDX-AC (150, 250 , HDX Smart Vaults)

Product works as advertised and I'm happy with it. I'm not tickled that Liberty made this sound like a proprietary item, which it is not. I knew it wasn't, but I couldn't find anything online that would help! Do yourself a favor folks.. Save half your money and buy a 12v 1000mA power adapter. This one is made in China like all the rest.. Thank me later.

Pro: It works. HDX250 opens faster than on battery power.Con: Despite the listing having a title of "Liberty Safe" and the listing's picture of "Genuine Liberty Safe Accessories" using the Liberty brand logo, this does NOT appear to be an official Liberty Accessory. It is marked as an UpBright brand (the Amazon seller) and came in a plain shipping envelope. I have no problem with 3rd party products, but they shouldn't be marketed as official products, especially when they are charging more than the other 3rd party products.

The biometric feature or the liberty safe does not work well, or at all, with the power cord. It takes multiple attempts/finger swipes to open safe which negates the quick access.We unplug cord and rely upon the battery power to open safe.

This was the product as it was advertised. However, the original that failed was a bit too fragile. Hopefully the replacement will not be as fragile and will not break in the same manner. Works as advertised so far.

Our safe was acting up, it wouldn't activate with a fresh battery. Works fine now that it's plugged in. As this review is about the A/C adapter, it's wonderful :)

I lost the adapter for my safe in a move and purchased this replacement. It works perfectly and I was able to get into my safe once it was plugged in. Thanks!

If there was a way to be impressed by a common charger this is it. Packaged well, wrapped in plastic, sturdy gauge wire and snugly plugs into safe.I mean, it works as it should. But shouldn’t the HDX-150 come with this? Just sayin.
