Easy. Effective.
My garage is already very well organized. I have however desired a solution for hanging snow shovels nearer the garage door opening. These provided the perfect-for-my-situation solution.Mocked up placement, measured placement more precisely, drilled 4 holes, tapped in 4 anchors, and screwed in 4 screws. 20 minutes all in.

Decent product
These are about what I expected for a made in China item. The paint was chipped in several places, probably during shipping, since they arrived loose in a box. The brackets are designed to be used with beveled screws, but the included screws are flat bottom. Speaking of them, they are only an inch and a half long. If you need to mount them over drywall you would only end up with about an inch actually into the wood after penetrating the drywall and allowing for the thickness of the metal. I wouldn't want to depend on that to support the weight of a tire and wheel combination. I used 3" long bevel headed screws and they seem to be fairly sturdy. For around $12 per mount I think some longer screws should be included.

Holds well and is strong
Two problems with the enclosed screws:1. They're Phillips head and frankly, that design is awful. Square, Torx, star or some other modern head design would be far better and easier to use, but admittedly most people don't have any driver other than flat or Phillips head. Your mileage may vary.2. I thought the screws that went with the hangers were a little weak - I stripped two of them out (they're Phillips head) with my impact driver, hence point 1 above. The problem could have been the wood was too hard, it was old pine, but I also pre-drilled so that should have been enough. Fortunately I had replacement screws of the same size and they went in a little better....and a general comment, these hangers are far stronger than drywall. You could get weaker hangers if you're only attaching it to drywall. Don't put a full load on drywall unless you really want to learn how to patch drywall - not hard but a hassle considering the patching, mudding, sanding, texturing, priming, and painting required.

Worth its weight in gold
When organizing a garage with a ton of yard tools and only so many studs, these things are incredible!! Yes, you'll have to take several things off first if the tool you need is in the back, but so what?! We only use our shovels and whatnot every once in a while, so this is absolutely perfect. Probably gonna order another for our leaf rakes and snow shovels.

So far, so good
Decided to take the advice of another reviewer here and swapped the packaged screws for torx wood screws from the hardware store.Decided to hang some OEM wheels in the shed (apologies for the mess), so I may update this review in a couple of months. But as far as I can tell, everything is holding up well!

Very useful
I set them up in my shed to hold all my hand tools (shovels, rakes, hoes, etc) and am satisfied that they do the job well
