Use this boat hook to attach your boat winch hook to the front of your boat without getting wet. Reach out 6 feet with the matching extendable pole, hook on the winch strap hook on the boat eye and then separate the hook with a half turn of the pole then crank in the boat.

Hooks the winch hook to the bow eye. I use a rope to hand pull my boat 2/3rds up the trailer. I have a cleat on my winch stand to secure that rope. Then hook winch hook to bow eye with this tool and winch fully up on trailer. Keeps feet dry.

Pretty weak. Haven't used it yet, but $20 is WAY too much for this. It's not threaded either. How hard would it have been to enter that in the product description? "Not Threaded". Rather than send it back, I bought the special $30 pole it goes on. If I had seen it in a store, I would have walked on by. I imagine it will break with light use.

This is my second! My boat has a "pulpit" up front and always was difficult to attach my hook. Got wet twice while standing on trailer after my "friend" dropped my non-floating" set up into six feet of water at the launch. Just received my floating boat hook from star brite and will be getting a try in 40 degree water tomorrow morning!

Use it to hook electric winch strap hook to bow eye. Works great for us.

This attachment is nice and works well. Able to hook the winch strap to the bow eye from the pier.

Perfect for late fall trailer loading of your boat. Haven’t found the exact pole this fits. But will keep looking.
