Pentair619355 Stainless Steel Pilot Screw with Captive Gum Washer Replacement Pool and Spa Light

A great example of over-engineering a non-existent problem.
There is no need for a special part hear yet Pentair choose to design a $7 screw. They could have easily used something standardized to provide the same bonding.

Is what it says.
Is what it says and does what it's supposed to do. :)Newbie advice:The stainless version of this screw is supposed to only be used on NEW INSTALLATIONS.If you are replacing the screw on an old light, you're supposed to use the brass/bronze screw.[or so they say]

Exact fit.
Had a new liner installed and somehow they lost this screw for my Pentair pool light. Had no idea until a few weeks later when the pool cleaner went over the light and it wound up in the bottom of the pool. This was an exact replacement.

Worked great
This is exactly what we needed for a pool light after the old screw broke off. You can't just use any screw.

Worked perfectly
My screws were stripped and oxidized. These were a perfect fit. No reason to over tighten.

Not cheap for one screw, but it worked perfectly ...
Not cheap for one screw, but it worked perfectly. Considering how often u need to get a new one (I made it 10 years), the price is negligible

Four Stars
Perfect fit for the Sam light. But a little expensive.
