Works as designed but not durable
At first the thought and idea if this device was cool but after 3 uses the internal parts started to rust. The gasket at the drive shaft leaks as well as the gasket where the battery housing is. Of the two I purchased one of the motors has seized. Plastic has started to deteriorate. The battery/motor contacts easily get misaligned and prevent device from operating.A single C battery will run the motor for about 2 1/2hrsYou have to rig the decoy you are putting this on with a swivel to prevent the cord from wrapping and then tangling up. You also need adequate water depth at least 18”For $20 I figured these would be made better or at least last a while longer.Save your money and buy a Hodgin battleship

Can’t beat it for the price!
This product is amazing. I got one last year just before big duck and it worked just as it should. Even on calm water days it added movement to the spread. The one I originally got fell off when some rough water hit the decoy or honestly I might of forgot what one I put it on and it fell off as I was picking up the decoys. This year I decided to buy two more and with some left over rigging I solved the problem and don’t have to worry about it falling off. The C battery last about 3-4 morning hunts tell about 1030 added constant movement even in the coldest of water here in Kansas. If your just getting into duck hunting or a hunter that their spouse will kill them if they find out how much you are spending on decoys this is a must have. Lastly they fit on any decoy with a keel and the little motors have enough to even push around my goose decoys. Don’t waste your time or money on a jerk rig get these save yourself the time of setting it up and the missed opportunity of using get these just clip them on set them in the water and watch them work!

Inexpensive motor for decoy motion
The media could not be loaded. This will provide some motion to your decoy set for a low price. It’s good for very light or no current. As you can see from the video, the decoy gets some decent motion on a 2’ Texas rig. I bought a pair of rechargeable lithium ion C batteries to power the unit. If you have a power bank, you should be able to keep this going all day.Be careful with the silicone gasket when opening the pod. I nearly lost mine which would have rendered it useless.

It’s ok
It would be better if I was more durable and would seal from water better my worked for a season but is now non working it needs to be maintained and cared to keep it going

Broke before first use.
Well when I put a battery in it appeared to spin. Unfortunately the clip that it mounts with broke while trying to hook it up. The clip is junk. I returned it and won’t be buying another one

Ok for flat water
These might be ok for totally flat water, but if your in a current, they probably won’t do much. C battery lasts about a few hours, after that the motor is too slow to do anything.

Cheap Gimmick
Bought two motors to try this hunting season and disappointed with performance. Any vegetation in water will clog motors asap. Motors still struggled to move decoys in best conditions. The only time these motors moved my decoys was when I put two on my smallest teal decoy.
