This is a pretty good paddle. It is the first one that I have owned/used, though in looking at Dicks Sporting Goods, I noticed that more expensive paddles were not as well-built.The only things I don't like is that water gets trapped where the face is attached to handle, and that for my very wide kayak, the paddle is a little shorter that I would like.Overall, I am very impressed with the paddle and plan on getting a second one for my wife.

It came arrived within the date of delivery range; however, the box was practically ripped in half and dented very badly. Fortunately the paddle was not damaged.
