DifferinAdapalene Gel 0.1% Acne Treatment, 0.5 Ounces each (Value Pack of 2)

Its the perfect over the counter acne gel because it's just as good as a prescription one because it use to be a prescription medication. It keeps my acne breakouts to a very minimum to actually none. I don't get any skin irritation and I moisturize right after I apply it.

You have to take it slow at the beginning. Only using every other day. My skin did get red and irritated for a little while but over time it’s worth it works great, cleared up my skin. I’m a forever user!

This is great if you have a few acne spots showing up on your face. It really helps to clear them up and I have tried countless products since I've had horrible acne since I was a teenager and going all the way until now in my late 30's. It will dry your skin out so I wouldn't recommend putting it all over your face and maybe just putting it where the acne is. I wouldn't use it more than two nights in a row, maybe skip a night and use a night moisturizer and then you could use it again the next night because if you over use it, then you could end up with flaky skin patches which is expected with any acne product. I would not use it during the day especially if you're going to be out in the sun. It is worth giving a try though. It's the best over the counter acne treatment I have found.

I started using the gel about 6 months ago and it was a little iffy at first but eventually it cleared my forehead acne and kept it clear. Even after I ran out and had to stop using it for a while my forehead has not had a breakout. I defiantly recommend and my advice is to just stick with it.👍🏼👍🏼

*EDIT* I stopped using this after a TERRIBLE experience. I went to Ulta to have my eyebrows done for a wedding that night. The woman asked me if I used a product like this and after I told her yes she said that it wouldn't be a big deal. Let me tell you, IT IS. Let me be the gopher on this one and dont do what I did, DO NOT WAX ANYTHING ON YOUR FACE WHILE USING THIS. It literally tore the skin off of my face and I had to meet my boyfriend's entire family that same night. It's funny now, but the scabs and pain were no laughing matter at that time. Don't listen to anyone who says it's ok and never happens. It does, it did, and I have scars to prove it lol.I have read several reviews that state this sometimes takes months to improve acne and I am posting my review at roughly three weeks in. So far this has done very little for treating my acne. Instead I am having the "purge" that everyone speaks of, EXTREMELY dry skin that is flaking and very visible (despite constant moisturizing), redness, and very very sensitive skin. Seriously, even tears make my skin light on fire. I'm really hoping that this works better within the next 5 weeks, otherwise I will spend my money on some other ridiculously priced acne treatment.

I use this every night after I wash my face. I have very sensitive skin, so I was hesitant to start using this product, but it works wonders. I avoid putting it around my mouth and eye areas, and it doesn't irritate my skin.

This was purchased as a gift from an Amazon Wishlist. It was on sale when purchased. It seems a good value. We have been told that it works as described.
