Shines bright like a diamond!
I purchased this 1.5 carat round moissanite as a replacement for a center diamond that was knocked out of an engagement ring. I haven't worn the ring in several years because of the missing diamond and the cost to replace it. This is just what I needed. The moissanite was cost effective at $55, arrived in a quality jewel case, looks beautiful, passes a diamond tester pen and has a microscopic serial number (located by a jeweler) inscribed on it. I did not tell the jeweler it was moissanite. I was waiting for them to tell me. However, after several pen tests and looking at the stone under high magnification, not once was I told that it wasn't a diamond. In fact, just the opposite. While looking at the moissanite under magnification, the words the jeweler used were "wow this is a beautiful DIAMOND". I didn't bother to correct him. I got the "diamond" 😉 mounted in my ring, and it looks amazing.A natural, earth mined 1.5 carat VVS diamond would have cost a minimum of $3500. If I had known about moissanite before April 2023, I wouldn't have waited so many years to get my ring repired. Jared Jewelry store charged a total of $450 for 14k white gold head (the 4 prong setting) & set (mount the stone), resize 1 size up, tighten all diamonds (required after resizing), and rhodium refurbishing, which makes all the white gold look brand new again.I'm including pictures. Some were taken in sunlight, some in daylight (no sun) and a couple inside where there are flourscent lights. Also, pre-repair pics included.I hope this review is helpful in some way, and leads you to try moissanite. If it doesn't meet your expectation, at least Amazon has a 30 day return policy whereby you can drop off at a UPS store, Whole Food, Kohl's, etc.

Crisp as hell!
The media could not be loaded. OK so I have had my eye on getting a moissanite for years now, however I've been very suspicious of ordering online and I swear it's almost impossible to find a store to look at one in person. I've been calling around for quotes forever which have ranged from $1500 to $550 (for a 7.5mm)... I finally said what the hell and took the gamble and ordered two different stones online from two different suppliers at two different price points. My plan was to take it to a store and have them compare the stone while ensuring the inscription matched the GRA certification #... much to my surprise my "gamble" paid off! The jewelers could not tell the difference in color or quality of the two different stones. So then I got curious and went to a second location and did not tell them it was moissanite. The jewelers inspected this stone and could not tell it wasn't a diamond. Score!! I'm sold.

Excellent quality, beautiful stone!
The media could not be loaded. I don't have much experience with moissanite but I'm planning to replace my engagement ring center stone, and I'm deciding between moissanite and a lab diamond. I ordered the 1.2 carat moissanite stone from Top Grillz and I'm impressed! To the unexperienced naked eye, the stone is beautiful. I took it to two separate jewelers (Kay and a local jeweler), and they both said "this is a really nice diamond!" before I told them it was moissanite. The employee at Kay looked at it under the microscope and pointed out that the color and cut and overall appearance of the stone were really very good (nearly flawless). The local jeweler was shocked by the price I paid for this stone - he even joked that it "must have been stolen." I think I disappointed him when he realized he couldn't sell me one for a better price! The only thing I'll mention is that he weighed it, and it weighed 1.13 carats instead of 1.2, though this may be negligible?Anyway, I definitely recommend this purchase, and I'm now leaning more toward using this moissanite over the lab diamond after getting confirmation of the quality of this stone.

This is the real deal and is beautiful!!!
I'm going to be honest. I was very leery buying moissanite on Amazon for such a low price compared to the original big name company that I had purchased my previous moissanite stone. But when my original 10+ year old stone started looking greenish, and the color was not covered under their lifetime warranty, I was told that moissanite had improved tremendously through the years and is now almost colorless. Rather than pay $400 for the name-brand replacement stone, I decided (based on all the excellent ratings) to order from Amazon and TopGrillz. This TopGrillz stone arrived exactly as pictured, along with a certificate that stated the features and engraved number. I took it to my jeweler to have my new stone re-set in a new 6-prong setting. It was verified that it was indeed real moissanite, engraved with the certificate number and a very very beautiful stone. My solitaire setting is soldered next to a real 5-diamond band and I cannot tell the difference. The savings is unbelievable and it looks just like a 1.5 carat diamond. I would not hesitate to order from Amazon again! Love it!

Affordable alternative to a natural diamond
The stone was delivered promptly, the packaging was excellent and it tested as moissanite using our jewelers testing equipment. The stone looks very much like a natural diamond when it’s under either bright, artificial lighting, or when it’s in direct sunlight (it has a nice sparkle); however when the lighting is soft or dim, it has a lackluster, faux appearance. That said, there are still many good uses for this affordable option to a natural diamond - we will try smaller sizes in jewelry other than a ring.

Beautiful!
The media could not be loaded. I wanted to upgrade my wedding band diamond and started reading about these stones. The jeweler said they last and are great alternatives. And yes, it tests like a real diamond. Is very sparkly too! It’s great!! I got the 1.5 c stone.

Beautiful
Arrived the same day I ordered it. Came with a magnafier and a display case. But the most interesting thing is it registered as a diamond with my professional grade gem tester. I actually removed an ugly real diamond from a necklace and replaced it with this perfect 1 carat Moissanite.
