Hands down best EMS pants ever
I have been wearing the same style of 5.11 EMS pants for years. They are extremely comfortable, durable, and fit great. Each pair has an elastic side waistband so the pants never feel too tight and stretch ever so slightly as you bend or move. I have trusted these for years and I still do to this day. I still have and wear the original 2 pants I got years ago and I have not gotten another brand since I started wearing 5.11 EMS pants. They have great side cargo pockets with 3 smaller pockets on the inside for a phone, stethoscope, or as I use it for my wallet. The side cargo pockets also have 2 pen/shear pockets on the outside with Velcro straps for securing a pen light or trauma shears. The back pockets are great as well for storing a stethoscope as they have a good depth to them as well as a strap above the pocket that is good for holding ear pieces against the pants so they don’t easily get cause on anything. There is not enough praise I can give for the design and functionality of theme buts but I do recommend them to anyone working in the Emergency medical field or as a first responder .

Durable, comfortable
I’m currently in EMT school and have found these pants to be the most comfortable I’ve tried on yet. I also speak from experience as a former police officer, and I can tell you that these pants are built for first responders. From fit, to durability, and the versatility of the pockets, these pants will exceeded the needs of most EMTs out on the field.

Perfect pants for a paramedic.
The pockets were perfect for carrying my notebook.Beware the tape strap, it seems perfect for medical tape but having that on the side of your uniform opens it up to bacteria and dander. I used it for tape that I kept on me as a lint roller to keep them looking fresh NEVER for patient use.

Good pant, heavy duty material
These are great quality and heavy duty from what I would consider. They seem strong and fit about as I expected which is one size up from my normal pants. Overall durable and appear they will last a long time considering I have worn them under harsh conditions most of this summer.

Good for the price
You get what you pay for. They are durable and decent pants. Run a little smaller than they say. And they don’t have much flex or give. But they get the job done.

The gold standard for EMS pants for a reason! Built to last!
These have been the standard, top of the line EMS pant for years now, and there's a reason for that. They're solid, with well designed pockets (and plenty of them -- you'll never use them all!), and they're built to last. The Taclite pants are slightly lighter weight than the standard 5.11's, which is good if you're working in a warmer climate. When I was in CO the regular-weight ones were preferable. Down in the southern US, the Taclite's are great -- they're still solid and heavy enough to be built to last, but you won't be deep fried during the summer. I've had one pair for almost two years now, worn for 12 hour shifts a couple days a week, and they're still holding up well. Just keep in mind, these are made to be a bit on the bulky side, so you can move in them. They're not going to be especially tight fitting. They also fit true to size, unlike some other brands. So, if you're a 36, don't be afraid to buy a 36 in 5.11's. If you're used to buying other brands that run a size or two small, you could wind up swimming in your new 5.11's!

GREAT FOR FEMALES
OMG if you are a female, get these pants! Do not buy the female pants because they are low-rise and not built for bigger hips/thighs. These pants are amazing. High-waisted with great reinforcement in the thighs. The waist might be a tiny bit big but nothing a belt can't fix. At first, I was timid about this because the only female reviews were skinnier females but trust me, I got thighs and booty so don't worry if you're curvy. I am 5'6" with a bit more length in the legs so I got a bit longer of a perfect size. I do recommend getting a size up just for the quad and booty space when you're kneeling down. Hope this helps any gals buy pants!
