I love this stuff. It’s so much less hassle than a full on clay or wax. Just sprinkle some into the hair and work it to the shape you want. I can continue to play with it all day no problem and it doesn't get oily throughout the day. I’ve completely converted.

My hair is fine, oily, a bit thin, and rests flat on the head regardless of the haircut. However, this expensive bottle of cocaine manages to dry up my hair for a full 24 hours. Amazing. The crazy texture and volume you get from this are just nice byproducts. It disappears into my dark brown hair without problem. Though, it makes your hair feel rough. That may bother some people, but I'm basically buying this as a dry shampoo.Here's some positive anecdotes! I've been cutting my own hair for a decade, yet it wasn't until using this product that I got complements on the same texturing I've always put into my hair. Within 2 weeks of using it a drunk dude even tousled my hair (... hello comrade?) and commented on how bushy it is. Had they done that before they would have been groused out by all the grease.The only downside is the price. Since that depends on how long it lasts, I'll update this review when I run out.Update:2 months. My hair is 2-4 inches and I used this ~every other day. So, $10 a month for a dry shampoo? $120 a year? That's at least 60 loaves of bread right there. My hair is not that valuable. But, it's nice to know there are products out there that work! Thanks!

I was skeptical how you could put a dry product on dry hair and it help style but it works. My 13 year old grandson has shoulder length hair and he is able to use this and style his hair by himself

Honestly I'm not exactly a hair stylist and my hair is very hard to deal with so perhaps this doesn't apply to everyone but I didn't find this powder incredibly helpful, yes it definitely gives you some volume and a bit of hold just by putting it in, but it also requires your hair to be dry when doing so, I always end up having to wet it a bit after putting my actual product in to get it right where i want it when it dries which I believe negates the point, so if your hair is easy to work with I bet this would be very helpful, for me, honestly not sure one way or another but I'm still using it trying to figure out how to style it like a pro!

I discovered Mr. Pompadour from their actual hair salon / barber shop in Raleigh, NC. They introduced me to this texture powder and it has worked great every time I use it. My hair grows in thick, so in order to use gel to style it I have to use A LOT and I just don’t like how it looks. Just a little bit of this and it holds perfectly while looking like no product is in my hair. Doesn’t seem like a lot in there but it lasted me months and I use it just about every day. I be ordered my second before I ran out of the first actually.

Product was completely damaged when opening package. Powder spilled out into package. Now I have the hassle of returning this sticky product back.

I love this product. It's easy and fast to apply, and it gives the front of my hair the texture/lift I was looking for from pastes but never was able to properly achieve. It definitely has a certain texture to it when in the hair, but it is not bad and is much preferable to pastes and liquid products. It also doesn't dry out my scalp or irritate/aggravate hair loss, it contains aloe vera to help with inflammation which is great.It feels like an empty bottle; it's so light. But a little goes a long way with this product, and depending on where you use it in your hair, you can easily make one bottle stretch out for months.

Amazing product! I have always hated my hair and how it just lays down on my head flat. I used to spike it up when I was younger then started using hair spray when I had time but lately I just resigned myself to having boring unremarkable hair. No more! After working a good amount into my hair it builds the structure to where my hair has some real mass to it. After that I usually put in some other product like hairspray or wax to take care of the straggler hairs that might come loose and I am GOLDEN! Can't wait to try our their beeswax clay product which is currently out of stock.
